$7.92. How long till it reach $10?

For historical context, here's the average prices of Humble numbered indie bundles via wikipedia:

Indie bundle 1: $9.18

Two: $7.85

Three: $5.83

Four: $5.45

Five: $8.53

Six: $6.48

Seven: $6.70

Eight: $5.86

Nine: $4.90

Ten: $5.36

Eleven: $4.71

To be honest I'm not sure what to make of this information
They finally mastered tricks of using of high-tier and super-high-tier to keep average high.

Are people seriously complaining about the price? Not to mention it's for charity. It's called cheapassgamer not stingyassmofo.

Also did I mention. Charity.
You're not going to get anywhere with this here.

But hey, if you feel like being charitable you can toss some money toward my extra life drive ^_^

I think the (relatively) low price on the high-tier is helping up the average considerably. If Prison Architect had been in a $15 tier I bet we'd see a significantly lower average.

Yes, this is what I'm talking about saying they "mastered" it.

If you are going to pay ~$8 why not pay ~$2 more for PA? Considering it's not going to be at that price anytime soon?

This in turn increases average and makes gap even smaller, which only helps this effect.

If it was $15 there would be far less people paying ~$7 more (so almost dobule) just for PA. Thus lower average.

Edit: $65 tier appeals only for physical collectors, which doesn't affect as much, but still do have effect.

It's Star Trek. I'm surprised there are so few in this bundle.

If I decide to go in on the Star Trek bundle, does anybody have an opinion on the $15 tier? I have the BTA penny-locked at $8.41.

Seriously. The Grand Comics Database lists 204 series titles that include the words "star trek." 29 are foreign titles, leaving at least 175 US titles.
There are a TON of Star Trek comics by DC, Marvel, and Tokyopop. There's some DC stuff (DC / Wildstorm) here but it'll be really tough to get the Marvel stuff because of rights issues.

I think I'll commit myself to buy something from the Humble sale. Nothing has interested me yet game-wise, but price-wise they have been really good with their prices. Much better than Steam sales so I have to support that somehow.
you're just saying this as a cover for wanting to support charity

i see through your lies you disgusting fox.

youre probably not even a fox

The only charity that's worthwhile is Boob Aid, where Japanese porn stars stand in a line and let horny donators feel them up. For a good cause.

Why are the rights harder with Marvel (and Malibu) than with DC and Gold Key?

Well, for starters, Disney owns Marvel and by extension, Malibu. :p But I imagine it's more because Marvel has a digital storefront of its own and this could be considered competition.

Whoever owns the rights to Gold Key's comics is very happy with letting them be licensed and republished - several of their old comic books have been reprinted by other companies, and some of their old comic book characters have been revived several times.

The reason that there aren't any good games for bonuses with humble is really pretty simple. Any dev that has a game added as a bonus only gets a cut of the sales from after the bonuses are unlocked. And yet, they are required to give copies of their game to anybody who has already beaten the average. So essentially, they're giving away a shit-load of copies of their game for free.

Maybe they'll get some money from people who went in for a buck and have decided to increase to the BTA level. But on the whole, they make peanuts compared to the devs who were in it for the entire run. Given this fact, its almost surprising that they manage to do as well as they do with the bonus games.

You will never see good bonuses until there is some sort of allotment for bonus games in the payment split.

Anyone know if the Sorcery in the mobile bundle is the entire 4 part series or just the first one? Wondering since "Sorcery" is the name of the series, and the individual chunks have their own names, and the description even mentions it being a four-parter.

If it's the whole set (Well, 1 and 2 and then whenever they finish 3 and 4) I'd definitely go for it. If it's just the first then screw it.

No clue. I scoured the internet briefly looking for information on this but it looks like everyone's regurgitating the same press release. However, given that the second episode is sold as a separate app on the Google Play store, I'd say it's probably just the first one (although perhaps the second one will be a bonus).

I wanted to add that the soundtrack to Horn is by Austin Wintory, the same guy who did the music for The Banner Saga, and it's quite good. I've played a little bit of the game on iOS and it looks like something that would be good as a computer port (and I don't say that about too many things).

Based on the size given, it's just the first. The same size is listed for the first in the Play Store.
