Humble Bundle Thread

BTA unlocks:

Borderlands DLC: Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution
Borderlands 2: Headhunter 1: Bloody Harvest
Borderlands 2: Headhunter 2: Wattle Gobbler
Borderlands 2: Headhunter 3: Mercenary Day
Borderlands 2: Headhunter 4: Wedding Day Massacre

I hate bundles that just try to get you to buy DLC separately.  I'm not spending 9.99 on the Clap Trap campaign.  I'll wait til it's discounted in the next Steam Sale.

Already have all of B2 except the costumes, so don't care.  The Pre-sequel coupon probably doesn't cover DLC either.

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but is the Handsome Jack Collection ever coming to PC?

I have BL1 GOTY and BL2 base on Steam.  If that aforementioned collection, which I assume has everything from both games, shows up on Steam, that's what I'll buy.

If not, I'll just go console peasant, and get a cheap copy for Xbone or PS4.

That's about what I expected, now it's only missing (in terms of gear) the Collector's Pack( with the Contraband Sky Grenade) for BL2.

As compared to the BL2 GOTY-the $15 has a Headhunter and the 2nd Vault Hunter upgrade pack. As compared to the Season Pass, the BTA has two more characters, the Creature Slaughterdome (formerly a Gamestop preorder bonus), and most of the Headhunters.

I don't have the games on PC(resisted previous sales), so I'm likely in for BTA. I can wait for the Season Pass and last headhunter to go on sale, so that $15 tier is not too appealing.

If they do release it it'll be as a bundle of B2 GOTY and Pre-sequel GOTY.

So, it's possible.

If they do release it, it'll be a month after this bundle ends so that literally every person on earth owns BL1 and 2. Their mission is to screw as many people over as possible!

Think I'm gonna pass on this one. The only extra thing I really care about in BL2 is the Psycho class (already have the Mechromancer) and that's been a buck and change before.

Cheapass Alert! You get a key per tier, no splitting.

So Tier 1 gives you a single key for BL1 + the 3 DLCs,

Tier 2 gives you a single key for BL2, Gaige, Psycho and Creature Slaughterdome.

I bought the headhunter dlc + vault hunter 2 pack for $2 on Nuuvem and then got BL2 GOTY during the price glitch on Steam for $6.39, so about $8.39 total. I also bought BL1 GOTY for $1.50 3 years ago.. so I paid less than the total cost of this bundle and got more.

The only thing I think most people are missing are the skin DLCs.

When he asked that, I'm pretty sure you were excluded by default!

BL1 DLC - 1x, like 20x for Knoxx, beat all bosses at least once

BL2 DLC - a few times, beat all bosses at least once

BL:TPS DLC - main campaign only, but played with Jack second time

I farmed Knoxx and Leviathan.

How many people actually get around to playing the DLC for borderlands? I didn't even get through the base game.
I went through almost everything in BL1. Solo. (Because Gamespy really sucked.)

The only things I couldn't complete on my own were Crawmerax and the really long Moxxi arenas.

So, needless to say, if anyone wants to group in any of the Borderlands, I might me amenable.

Also, if Borderlands tickles your fancy, but you're not keen on the incredibly arduous grind to get to the level cap and/or unlock PT2.5/UVHM, I'd highly recommend starting with either a high level/maxed out game save (I can make mine available) or using gibbed to make one of your own. The journey to max a character is enjoyable, but more enjoyable (imo) is playing around with all the different character's playstyles and building synergy among the available skills and top tier weapons.

And how much of that went to charity, morans?

Jeez.

Maybe it's just me, but if I'm going to spend a dime after launch, I just kind of want to buy everything I care about at a throw (like the Shadow of Mordor GOTY Upgrade, or the SRIV GOTC Upgrade, or what have you).
Should have seen EU III, if I recall it had two (differently named) "complete versions," and the 2nd one still didn't have all the expansions ><.

Yeah, that held me back from getting into CK2 for a long time too. I love those games, but the piecemeal DLC does drive me nuts. At least with EU and CK the additions are really substantial ones in a lot of cases.

Pre-Sequel is $60 on the Humble Store, so you're paying $15 for the right to buy it at $15.  Wasn't it $20 or less during the Steam sale?  And, as mentioned earlier, the chances of some kind of stacking promo are non-existent as the coupon apparently expires in two months.

I've got problems when I'm considering a bundle for a character DLC and a 75% off coupon.
If I was you - I wouldn't consider it.

But, the question for you is probably this - how many playthroughs will you do w/ the character DLC that you're missing?

$19.79 according to ITAD. So (mathing it out) ends up roughly 50 cents more ($20.30) if you pick the bundle up soon-ish (used $5.30 for the BTA).

I've never played the BL games, so I'll probably get the $1 tier for now and get BL2 complete in a Humble weekly next year.
Be sure and pick up the Claptrap Revolution DLC somewhere along the way then because that's really the ending of the main game.

Did you ever try the ledge glitch? As soon as the platform is up, run left and get on the ledge and go all the way to the left wall and crouch there. It's even better than Terra since nothing attacks you if you get it just right. The only tricky part is shooting the weak spot on his back with the rocket launcher blast, so I've only done it two or three times successfully as a solo Mordecai, non-maxed.
