Humble Bundle Thread

I don't own Headhunter 1-4. Any opinions on them?

Also, are these unlocks a single key or separate?
They're little bite-sized adventures. Each of them will take an hour or so to finish. Each contains a boss, some loot, and some crazy-ass story.

They're nice if you just want a little variety, but not at all necessary.

Hm. I think I read one of those ME 1 -> ME 2 books a while ago that
dealt with Liara becoming the Shadow Broker
, but I'm not all that excited about another one. However, The Silent Grove has been on my Amazon wishlist for a while (and so has The Guild).

Changes in Steam key redemption for legacy purchases

In January, we relayed the announcement that Steam was removing support for OAuth, a feature that allowed one-click Steam key redemption for games purchased through Humble Bundle.

While games and bundles sold since that announcement redeem manually on Steam, older purchases with OAuth key redemption were allowed to work as originally intended. This morning, the function was disabled and is no longer operational.

Starting today, we will be returning to the original system we used for Steam key redemption, which requires you to manually redeem your keys on Steam. All Humble download pages are now affected by this change.

If you already redeemed a Steam key through OAuth, then your download page or account library page will no longer show the redemption date or Steam account that the game was redeemed on. Instead, for your records, your download/library page will show an already-redeemed key. These keys can not be redeemed a second time.

Instructions on how to redeem games manually on Steam can be found here.

EDIT: After watching the video, it seems this is how the tiers will be:

$1:

Hack 'n' Slash

Lumino City

Trine 2

BTA:

A City Sleeps

The Marvelous Miss Take

$12:

Sunset

Those Double bastards still owe me my free copy of Hack 'n Ass for owning their incomplete Spaceass DFdick.

I guess this will do. Might even consider the highest tier.

Eh, only A City Sleeps and Trine look interesting to me, and I already have Trine on 360. All the top rated reviews for City Sleeps say it's super short too.

Definitely gonna BTA for that one, been interested in Marvelous Miss Take and A City Sleeps. Not sure if I want to go to tier 3 just for Sunset, especially since that dev is out of business anyhow, right? Not interested in Gravity Ghost.

If that top tier was a few bucks cheaper I'd go for it. As is I hope it doesn't keep the BTA from dropping to a nice price point.

In for the BTA, not really going to bother with the $12 tier.

Those Tale of Tales game will eventually hit a single humble bundle of their own because that's what Humble usually does.

Not technically "out of business," they just threw a Phil Fish-style fit about getting out of the indie game racket because of the reviews that Sunset got. It remains to be seen whether they'll stick to their guns, Phil Fish-style, or eventually make another game.

I was thinking that might be the case too. That $12 tag is pretty steep and I'm mildly interested in Gravity Ghost but really interested in Sunset. GG seems like something that could turn up in a Groupees or IG any day now. I'd only be BTAing for Miss Take, really, and since I'm already leaning heavily towards third-tiering the new book bundle, a third-tier on this one is probably just beyond my budget anyway.

Thanks for putting me on to Story Bundle. Awesome stuff. I can't believe someone wrote a book about that bible game. I remember playing that as a kid.

Whoa! I didn't think the BTA would fall that much. I bought the whole shebang when it looked like it was just going to stay above 6. Still, a really good bundle. I guess I'll have to play those games.
