Humble Bundle Thread

I'm confused. My humble monthly seems broken. I don't see a single early access horror sandbox game listed on my subscription.

This bundle is the best.

Syn is a dumb.

Slime Rancher ftw.
Agreed. All new to me. Most were on my wishlist, and the one that wasn't (Slime Rancher) looks really fun.

I'm only keeping Grim Dawn so if anyone was interested in the others PM me I'm sure we can work something out
Might be interested in a second copy of Action Henk for multiplayer. Maybe Train Valley, too, if my son likes it.

Action Henk is a solid MP game. It's kind of like Trials mixed with Trackmania (you race for the fastest time). Scheduled a bronight for it tonight, supports up to 20 players.
i grabbed it from groupbuys, but im getting home kind of late tonight, so you guys will probably write it off before i can even it it installed

I suppose that depends on whether or not you think there's an underlying darkness to imprisoning adorable balls of slime.

It's a good game, but the value is kind of low for an early unlock. Most of the other headliners have been $20+ MSRP, meanwhile this one is $15.
Yeah, I hear that. The main argument in its favor is that, among all the headliners thus far, Stardew is the one that will probably take the longest to either (a) get bundled again, or (b) reach 75% off. If it was just your average Indie game (in terms of popularity, that is), it would be a far more underwhelming early unlock.

Ended up passing as I still have doubts about Grim Dawn -- was never a fan of TQ.  Hotline Miami 2 is the only one of the unlocks I'd have even the slightest interest in playing.  I guess $12 for those two is an okay deal but nothing zomg holy poop awesome.

No interest in Stardew Valley + randoms at $12.

Its not a bad game at all. I could see it being a good time. Its very much like the Trials and Joe Danger games. Physics based racing.

As for the quality of the bundle, I don't hate it, but there's nothing overly impressive. I already owned HM2 and Henk, but am keeping most of the others aside from Deponia which I sold. That will get bundled again at some point and I still havent played the other games in the series, so Idc about it right now. I frankly had never even heard of most of the others, but Slime Rancher looks cool and Train Valley could be a dark horse good game.

Stardew I'm torn on, but I agree that its lesser value than other early unlocks. I will probably give it until the end of the year before unsubbing as I'm leaning towards doing so, but not pissed off enough yet. Maybe they'll do something special for the December monthly.

I already had Hotline Miami 2, Grim Dawn and Slime Rancher.   And I have Stardew Valley so it is probably time to cancel until I see another early unlock that I want.

whatever u see as early reveal is already there. There's no additional reveal

Stardew is strong enough to stand on its own.

I have mixed feelings about this monthly. Very happy to see Slime Rancher in there. Hotline Miami 2 is a game you knew was getting bundled eventually. Same with Deponia Doomsday. Train valley and Action Henk are +1s I probably won't touch unless we bro night Action Henk. Then there is THOTH......WTH is with this IG randomness? Starting to think the Humble Monthly "Debut" is worse than the "Original".

Was tempted to buy Stardew Valley multiple times at $12ish. Glad I waited. Still think it is a somewhat weak headliner because of the low MSRP.

I must be right square in the middle of the demographics for these monthly bundles. I've had pretty good luck so far.
Same here, happy for HM2, Had Train Valley on wishlist, and Action Henk or w.e. sounds like something I'd play at least once (loved Trackmania and okay with Trials games). Slime Rancher might be interesting, have to look at it some more.

Depends on what you didn't like about TQ, but likely won't like GD if you didn't like TQ.

Sort of, although MSRP by itself is fairly meaningless, as seen with publishers such as Devolver Digital. Some games with very low MSRPs practically never go on sale, or if they do, not with a deep discount.

Eh...not a terrible bundle, especially not as bad as the other two months (which caused me to ask for refunds). I own none of these and and one was on my Wishlist.
You can get a refund for Monthly bundles?

Confirmed for November Monthly:

Please buy more Early Access Survival games, zombies optional. Thanks.

Agreed. At least one survival/horror game should be included a month in my opinion, but how are they not going to include any with Halloween a few weeks away?

I guess gift links are still getting redeemed randomly? Just noticed two games from the Jumbo 7 bundle in my key spreadsheet have been claimed.

Well, this October Monthly was a complete +7 for me with Grim Dawn & Hotline Miami 2 being the highlights. I had Slime Rancher & Action Henk wishlisted, so... yay? The other stuff is bonus I guess. I think it's an alright monthly but nothing I'm too excited about. I don't own Stardew Valley, so next month is slightly tempting. Oh Humble...

So I haven't found a good reason to unsub this last year. The CoD month was close but it didn't sway me. Ended up changing my sub to a year rather than month to month starting with November. Only a ~8% discount but if I am going to buy them anyway...... LET THE RAGRETS BEGIN!

Where is your spreadsheet? You aren't the first person to mention having a spreadsheet containing bundle links. I wonder if some private spreadsheets are somehow able to be scraped.

This bundle isn't too bad. Grim Dawn is a fairly good early unlock, Hotline Miami 2 is a pretty good reveal, Slime Rancher has extremely good reviews on steam, deponia is...whatever but i'll take it, and thoth i'm willing to give a shot. No interest in action henk or train valley. Not the best bundle but probably easily the best for me since at least june. Not sure if i'll buy next month, though...stardew valley is a pretty low value early reveal

Never bought a Monthly

So it comes with Septembers main game
There is one game that gets unlocked early before the rest of the bundle, it becomes available as soon as you purchase the bundle. If you were to pay for November's bundle today you would get Stardew Valley to redeem and play now, and then have to wait until the rest of the bundle is revealed on the first friday of November to get the rest of your games.

I double checked and I hadn't even added them to my spreadsheet yet, but I had revealed them and generated gift links on my bundle page. I submitted a humble support ticket, will update if they actually do anything.

Well, that idea's busted, anyway. I note that I have a small number of generated links on my account that are sitting there unclaimed, and thus must be unaffected by any sort of link stealing. I don't have my links copied down anywhere, thus my thought that perhaps that was a hint as to which links ended up stolen. Ah, well.

Yeah as was said before there is some humble exploit or something for gift links and people are stealing them. If you give what games are claimed that you know weren't claimed honestly and the bundle they're in to support they will hopefully hook you up.

I think i'm to the point where I really dislike random blind crap now. If I don't know what i'm getting, eh I could do better. I stopped with random shirts (got some bad ones IMHO....those mash up shirts), random bags of crap from Tanga, blind Groupees pre-orders, and I'm only going to take a chance on the monthly if the featured game is one I want. I'm not really enjoying all the random games as much as some on here. I'd rather get less games, but ones I know I want. I have wanted the last 2 main games, but stopping this next month. I just don't like random crap....goodbye CCGs as well. Just my humble opinion of course, but $12 dollars saved can go for something I actually want and don't have to blindly guess at like 3 comics or 1 manga or something.

Yeah, I'm aware. Just had a thought as to why some links were being found.

Only smart course seems to be asking yourself "Would I pay $12 for the featured game?"

RE Monthly bundles - I haven't bought any, but I think they've all been a pretty good value. Mix of genres, good reviews for the games, previously unbundled. If you don't buy many games on Steam then the monthly sub gets you a great value assuming you'll play some of the games. If you're a compulsive game collector chances are you'll get some repeats, but you can always sell the dupes. Personally I just wait for monthly games to show up in regular Hamble bundles. ;)

RE gift links - I'd be curious to see if Humble follows up on this issue or discovers what's behind the exploit. Seems there is either some kind of pattern to the links, or Humble's database has an exploit? Humble has replied to different people and told them things like, "It does appear that your account was accessed without your permission." This seems ambiguous and suggests they don't really know what's been happening or don't want to say (yet). But most importantly they are responding to people and revoking+replacing stolen gift links.

But you don't know what could be in the mystery bundle.... It could be a boat!!

Never bought Humble Monthly since they introduce it and never will. My Paypal is safe, except occasionally when a Poopees bundle comes along...

Moran well spent.

Completely rules out the possibility of buying a Humble Monthly.... buys Poopees bundles.

Having so much trouble getting Slime Rancher from a reseller, kind of considering subscribing and sell games i dont want rather than buying the games i do want

Getting Grim Dawn was alright, and I got a good deal for it. But with Slime Rancher, I am still waiting on some offers I've sent out on Barter. Someone just sniped Slime Rancher for Karmaflow there :censored:

So if anyone on here wants me to buy them a copy of Hard Reset Redux, and has Slime Rancher, let me know.

I've seen a few people selling Slime Rancher for $2-3 on here and Group Buys, but most of them were doing it right when the games were revealed. Harder to find better deals the longer you wait sometimes. Trying to find a fairly priced Stardew Valley seems to be much harder than a lot of the previous early unlocks though..

I actually went in with a 12 month sub to Humble because someone offered to pay for it and I already have Stardew Valley. There is no way to skip months is there?

You can pause the subscription if you're month to month, but I dunno how it works for 12 month subs. Check it in the settings.

I can give you it for a few. I bought it during the summer sale. Mine doesn't charge early till the end of the month though. PM me if interested.
