Humble Bundle Thread

They revealed there are only 50,000 of these bundles available. I kinda want it, but it's still thirty bucks...

Edit: Tomorrow's reveal is Goat Simulator.

After these reveals, they really should go back to bed. $30 for a lot of previously bundled $1 tier games is what you'll get, and that's not that great even for charity.

and that's not that great even for charity.
Thing is, if I'm dropping $30 for charity, I want a bit more say in what my charity is. I'm not necessarily inclined to spend $30 and feel okay because "it's for charity" if it's going to providing wifi access for Norwegian orphans. I've enough local stuff I can give thirty bucks to. I'd need more of a "pick your own" option to be interested from the charity angle.

Well...

Choose Your Own Charity!
In addition to the charities above, you can designate funds
to a charity of your choice! Select one from a list of thousands.

Me, personally, I'm just not paying $30 for that crap charity or not.

The "Choose your own charity" is in addition to the rest, right? Which is already being split six ways. Or maybe I'm wrong.

Just saying that I was familiar with that but when they already have a bunch listed then it's still about the same situation to me. If I'm wrong and it goes 100% where I want than that's different.

You can choose who gets what amount of money. You could give $0 to the six charities and all to whatever else you want.

Anyone interested in the following pm me I'll give them to you.
Ootp 17 GONE
Super puzzle fighter ii turbo hd remix ps3
Wolf of the battlefield commando 3 ps3

Also 2 questions unrelated has humble monthly been worth it for anyone in your opinion. Also I saw someone say you could pledge 0.01 to yogscast would this hold you a spot in the pool of 50000 to decide to up to $30 before it ends

It's a Humble Monthly situation.

I get a few things I actually want and gift or sell the rest of the stuff.
I didn't realise until I looked at the site that they're adding 31 games/items.

I'm in. It's cheaper than paying taxes because I'm smart.

Plus there's a worthy local charity I gave all 30 bucks to.

I'll take Ootp 17 if it's available, thanks.

The Humble Monthlies have been worth it for the early unlocks most of the time, you can always sell off the rest of the crap that you don't want and get what you want at a fair price. I'm not sure if you can guarantee yourself a yogscast bundle after 50k have been sold. They're either limited to 50k purchases, or 50k keys, and if it's limited to keys you're fucked if you penny in and wait it out for too long.

Fake TrumpCat. TrumpCat would never give to charity unless he was using it as a tax deduction or the charity was giving him a golden litterbox for his support.

I'd like the ps3 games if they are available. Just got a ps3 on blackfriday, lol

You can search through the thread and find the previous Yogscast xmas bundles. None of them were really worth it from a game value standpoint, but I do enjoy blindly purchasing mystery boxes...

edit:

Even then, TrumpCat would use someone else's money and claim he gave $3000 instead of $30.

This.

I hate when people on places like Facebook and Twitter try to get pissy and go "it's for charity!" if you talk bad about a certain bundle. It's like, bitch, I go to town and I get asked to donate to various causes most places I go. I have choices on where I can donate money to. Most people who buy Humble Bundles aren't doing it out of the goodness of their hearts. If they really wanted to donate out of the goodness of their heart, they would donate to that organization/foundation/etc directly without getting anything like games in return.

I remember the last few yogcast bundles have been trash.  Pay 25-30 for stuff you could have had for much cheaper throughout the year.  This mystery thing is new, but screams gimmick.  Granted, the games have always been decent, but it's usually best reserved for newbies.  Even the TF2 stuff in the bundle is worthless (non-tradable).  Giving $30 to the pups is the only real motivation I'd have but honestly don't feel like signing myself up for the work of having to sell off 20+ games I don't need.

anyone looking for a good charity to select:

Southern Poverty Law Center
Vomited a bit in my mouth.

Give to your local Habitat for Humanity. Great program. Or your local animal shelter. Don't give to a bunch of disgusting lawyers who deem everyone that doesn't agree with them "haters".

Yeah, how dare they keep tabs on hate groups and defend minorities!

No, didn't you hear? It's white men who are the true victims in this country and lawyers are dirty for getting an education and working within the confines of the legal system created by our founders and minorities are just whiny babies who are easily offended and want the world to PC and want welfare. Welfare is given to corporations like Carrier to 1000 people can keep their jobs for like however long it takes for those robots they ordered from China to get finished and take over even those jobs.

I found a regional group assisting with autism and so gave them my thirty bucks. Whatever games I already own, I'll just give away either on my Steam feed or here (more of the former than the latter, sorry lurk-jerks).

I've noticed post quality correlates with bundle quality. When the bundle is good, post quality is (relatively) good. When the bundle is bad... well, just look at the last few pages.

is Mexican consider white? u know, like white Mexican vs. tan Mexican :whistle2:

Interesting. This morning I saw a countdown timer for the Dragon's Dogma monthly bundle. I just went back to the monthly page and the countdown timer is no longer there. Possible delay on the next monthly?

Edit: Never mind. If you click on your subscription, it shows the timer again. About 90 minutes away from the new bundle!

I notice the holiday bundle claims a value of $650 which would be an average of just under $21 a day.  I wonder if they apply a supposed value to the TF2 badges?  Beyond that, so far it's:

Kholat - $20

Guilty Gear - $15

Bit.Trip - $15

Psychonauts - $10

Back to Bed - $6

That's an average of $13.20 for each game so far.  Someone's behind schedule!

Day 31 will be $95 worth of Magicka DLC

Looks like there will be more than 1 game some days:

"with 50+ more games to be added!!!"

Oh, duh. That's to me, not you. All those games were on Day One making it $66 for the day, well OVER an average of $21. So most days will be much less impressive in scope (although a single $20 game that hasn't been bundled to death is better than ten $5 games that have been bundled for ages).

I foolishly thought of each game being its own day.

Is there anything gained by picking up the bundle now... over waiting for it to be nearly over?

Supposedly it could sell out since it's limited quantity.

"Supposedly".

I only bought in because I found a charity I'd be willing to give $30 to and receive nothing back so why not give them $30 and get some bundle trash?

Da fuq I've never heard of any of these games (aside from Escapists). Will probably sub for Vermintide

EDIT: Got a Vermintide key from Parallacks, so probably won't sub lol

Bought Hacknet during the Autumn sale... 96 minutes.

Already refunded Hitman due to GameStop, though. Don't wanna lose my card drops.

Minion Masters? Game that was given for free in the monthly? That's the new low.

The rest of games is pretty good tho.

I already own Vermintide so no reason to pony up.

I'm REALLY glad I didn't buy the December Monthly.  Wow.  Ugh.

Good thing I actually wanted Dragon's Dogma...the rest of this is trash to me. Minion Masters has been given away twice by the devs and it isn't even out yet. Terrible pick for the monthly.

EDIT: Eh, Mordheim will be maybe ok.

Also, GLAD I DIDN"T BUY VERMINTIDE! Almost bought the damn game at least 3 separate times from mcshady keys.
