Humble Bundle Thread

I think the one drawback of the Steam bundle is that you probably don't get the KQ epilogue, which only comes with the Complete Collection rather than from adding episodes individually.

If someone wants to be safe they can pay $20 to Hamble then complete the Steam bundle for ~$3.72. Other option is to find a bundle split and buy KQ Complete for $5, then complete the Steam bundle to get everything else.

Does anyone remember how low the BTA for the Sierra Bundle got last time?
I just went back and checked my paypal account, and it looks like I paid $5.63 for the BTA level. According to the time stamp of that payment, it looks like I bought it 22 minutes after it launched. So I was probably around when the bundle went live. Which means that I probably got it at, or within 10 cents of the low on that BTA.

Thanks, that makes me feel better about paying for the BTA this time at $4.82 even though I bought the $1 tier last time.  I'm pretty sure I didn't see the last one until later in the day after the BTA had risen pretty significantly.

If someone is going to 'complete' the bundle on Steam after buying BTA, $15 or $20 tier, please shoot me a PM. I need your help with getting Zeus and Pharaoh cheap. ;)

the other reason to pick up the humble vs steam bundle is IF you want Velocity 2x which is in the $15 tier.  I agree with inm8num2 that if the goal is to have King's Quest complete, then humble is the way to go.  not surprised that shortly after people found the steam bundle that humble did this rebundle.  sadly the last "weekly" we really had was 3 weeks ago.  I think humble realizes that some of us want to spend money this time of year and think that the weeklies are not worth it until after steam Winter sale and Christmas.

On a separate note, I generally watch the sales to see what I think humble will be bundling soon ie when a lot of people said Sir you are being hunted.  I think it is time for Transistor and Invisible Inc to be bundled after the holidays either in a weekly or monthly (not headlining).  Anybody else want to say what they think will be bundled within the next 1-2 months?

Been hoping for Helldivers or Hard West to show up, but Mordheim was a pleasant surprise.

I sort of keep wondering if they'll add something to Yogscast to entice me to pick up the bundle, but it's sure not looking likely. Today's reveal of a 7x bundled game and another that's currently 69 cents certainly isn't the way to do it. It is nice knowing that of the three sold out games, I already have two.

Darkest Dungeon, Stellaris, and Offworld Trading Company all strike me as prime Early Unlock material for upcoming Monthly Bundles. Well-reviewed, starting to get down to the $10-13 price range during sales, all have been out for ~8 months or more by now, and all are popular enough to lead a bundle.

The Yoggcast charity bundles have always been trash. The only appeal is to hipsters who love Yoggscast and people who say DEW IT FER CHARITIES!

I know a lot of people won't care since it's not for a game, but Rifftrax is emailing a $10 discount voucher to people with a Rifftrax account. I've never bought anything in the store, I've only redeemed my Humble stuff and I got the voucher. It's just about enough to buy a single movie download, or get three "Just The Jokes" audio downloads for $0.77 after using the SANTA coupon they have right now.

You know, if you're into that.

(I got the riffs for Daredevil and both Fantastic Four films.)

If you're into this sort of thing, it's also enough to buy quite a few of the short films, which are normally $0.99/$1.19 for HD (HD downloads aren't really necessary for 99% of this stuff because it wasn't actually shot in HD).

Here are a few of my recommendations:

1) If you are a fan of old-school MST3K, there's a live reunion show (the $10 won't quite cover it).
2) If you are a fan of old-school MST3K and digital video, many individual MST3K shows are available for $9.99.
3) You probably can't go wrong with the live or "studio" versions of Time Chasers.
4) Cool As Ice (featuring you-know-who)
5) Death Promise is the deal of the week so it's $7.99, which means you could snag it and a few shorts. It's showing up on the site page as $9.99 for some reason but when you add it to your cart, it adds at the discounted price.
6) If you have fond memories of Nintendo and the Power Glove, check out The Wizard.
7) Megaforce is exactly as ridiculous as you thought it was.
8) Anything with Safety Woman in it
9) Drugs Are Like That (not Tebow's autobiography, the other one)

Finally, don't forget that the coupon code SANTA will net you 10% off everything except gift certificates.

Happy Christmas!

EDIT: Speaking of free crap that has nothing to do with games and is tangentially related to Humble, Big Finish is giving away Flip-Flop for Doctor Who audio fans for the next few days.

I've been expecting, and hoping, that Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced would be an early unlock by now.

Apparently if you activate your "the bridge" key from the jingle jam you get tumble stone as well. was surprised to see it magically show up in my library.

It's just very limited demo version, without single-player and limited to 5 plays a day with friend who owns full version.

Tumblestone's promo strategy leaves something to be desired. I had "won" the game in a giveaway from CAG, only to find out that it was just the multi-player part. Doesn't exactly leave a good impression.

Clickteam Fusion 2.5 is a very basic game creation studio with event timelines written in pseudo-code (and it's not the full version). And Spriter? I guess they have to throw in basic software in a $1 tier, but the other tiers don't have enough to make up for it.

I love that they threw in PICO-8; as if the 2D pixel shader programs weren't hipster enough, now you're on a 128x128 board with 32k to create a game. Easy pass.

Not sure why, but I never got this email. Looks like the fuckin' Grinch stole my $10 Rifftrax voucher. :'(

If you bought the Humble Lifehacker bundle, you have until the end of December 31, 2016 to redeem your LastPass key. Which means, about 3 1/2 hours at this point. I would have reminded you all sooner, but I just remembered it myself a few minutes ago.

EDIT: It looks like Directory Opus 12 Light must be used by May 1st, 2017.  And CyberGhost VPN must be used by May 31st, 2017. I didn't buy the top tier, so I can't tell you about those items.

I don't recall seeing the original email, but I got a reminder email today to use my code by the end of the day. I hadn't even created an account yet after getting the free item in that Humble Bundle.

Seems decent if you don't have anything other than stuff that was in earlier Ubi bundles like the China game and Ass I and II.

It seems incomplete, though. Aren't there about four games missing? Rogue? IV? Black Flag?

$4 for III+DLC, the other two Chronicles and Liberation doesn't seem terrible.

I don't think II was in a bundle, was it?
