Humble Bundle Thread

Yeah, this bundled seems like a big ol' DLC trap. Pass for now.

I'll buy the version of this bundle next year that includes more of the DLC.
I'm not sure I recall the Endless games really doing DLC in bundles. Though I do recall them having complete the collection bundles available on Steam.

I'm thinking the answer is 'no' but I'm not 100% sure. I'm close to 99.99432812099% sure, though.
Huh. Not sure what game I'm thinking of, then. I know at least a few do things like that.

It's somewhat common for some games to do that but I'm thinking Gearbox went full-on greed with this... I believe if you don't own the DLC you simply can't port to the DLC area (that's the way they are accessed, through the fast travel system).

For what it's worth, imo, Dragon Keep is the only worthwhile story DLC. Also the second level cap raise (which is frequently on sale for $1.50ish) has 'Digistruct Peak' where most people farm levels.

I like how when I clicked on Wurm Unlimited it has "What is Wurm Unlimited?", because ain't no one ever heard of that shit before

Also, is this average playtime thing new? Kind of cool I guess

Works for me then I guess, in for a dollar. Only thing in the bundle I don't have/looks interesting.
Yeah, it's definitely worth the $1 tier for that; if you liked VH 1, getting the Final Cut version is a proverbial no-brainer.

That's crazy, dawg! $1 tier is a no brainer for anyone who hasn't played BL1. BTA tier is a solid value assuming you don't own any/much of it.
As the person here who probably hates Borderlands the most, even I would agree with the Moobster here and say it's worth dollaring in just to play it a bit and see whether it's something you would like.

Endless Legend is a gorgeous 4X game.  Definitely worth playing, and the majority of EL DLC is content that adds different strategies that the average person won't be interested in until playing the base game for 50-100 hours.

Er, playing? I thought this was CAG.

Yes yes terribly funny as always. I just hate seeing people dismiss an excellent game because omg $$$ dlcs. My library is filled with DLC for games that i'm never going to need. In retrospect, I would have been far better off just buying the base games of the Borderlands series instead of scouring for deals and and waiting for GOTY versions. They were fun to play, but after about 15-20 hours I had had enough.

Fair enough.

At some point the completionist dies off in all of us, I'd guess.

Its been on my wishlist for a while. And the dungeon game looks pretty fun, so $4.41 BTA for me is justified.

Anyone not have BL2? (Reds doesn't appear to so I am checking with him)

I guess my alt account also has Van Helsing Final Cut, anyone need that? Its pretty fun. I finished it a while back.

Cobol is looking for a second copy of Van Helsing I think.

The only thing endless about this is the amount of times they'll rebundle fucking Borderlands. It's a great series, but fuck off with the re-releasing and make a new one already. Almost as bad as Psychonauts.

And they could at least give us some BL:TPS DLC.

Not much of worth here, with some stupid choices. Bitcoin for Dummies in the $15 tier, coupons and trial subs for $1? Please. Bitcoin is old and harder to mine than litecoins, and I'm not seeing much about cryptocurrency alternatives. They're clearly trying to milk their fans this week with these shitty, overpriced bundles.

I don't think that's the normal book bundle. There hopefully will be a better today.

Which reminds me, I should buy the book bundle that's expiring.

Well it was fun while it lasted.

I know they say "If it's not broken, don't fix it", but I'm not sure I can trust IGN to be the judge of that.

...that seems like an odd combination. A video game and entertainment media company acquires a digital storefront and a charity bundler. Sure, why not. It's all a business.
