Worst HB weekly deal yet..

Anyone know if the DLC is a seperate key?
Given that most of us have Rochard from a prior HIB, no separate DLC key = no buy*. The DLC is $2 MSRP.

*unless you're satisfied to get the DLC for a $1 with 100% to charity

"The Humble Weekly Sale: Magicka" - you know it's coming.

...and I'm not paying a buck just to get a small piece of DLC & an artbook.

EDIT: From RRReddit: "You do get a separate Steam key for the DLC, so for $1 you get a key for the original game, and a key for the DLC, so you can gift that extra copy of the game if you picked it up before!"

Thanks. Now it's time for me to beg someone to give me a DLC key ;)

I like the Steam blurb for the DLC - I guess it explains why it's called "Hard Times":

"The new content includes four new, incredibly challenging puzzle levels: 'Container Chaos', 'Shaft Shuffle', 'Brainyard' and 'Assembly Line'. These levels were created as a response to fans that found the original stages a bit too easy. The ‘Hard Times’ content is designed to use all of the existing game mechanics, with an emphasis on puzzle-solving as opposed to combat, and offers a difficult test for even the most experienced players."

I dont have a card to use for the regular android bundle. I don't want the beat the average games so I'm willing to buy a steam item off you that us worthless for like $1.50 in return the the bundle code. Message me on steam if interested (you need the trading card beta)

Steam ID Darig0n

I liked Shadow Complex, so a buck for something similar works for me.

I'll buy that for $1! (err. $1.25 to ensure the Steam keys)
I paid $1.00 exactly and got my Steam Key. Same with the Alan Wake deal a few weeks back, though in that case I already owned the games, I just bought the extra content.

Seems no different than the Humble Weekly for Bastion. One was the BTA game on HiB 5 and one was the BTA game on HiB 6.
I have to agree with gilby. I don't want to agree with him -- and I really don't know why. ;)

Imo, the worst humble bundle was the Humble Botanicula Debut because of the the $5 minimum for steam keys.

People are just upset that it's a game that's been in a bundle before. Even though the games featured in the past three weekly sales are (IMO) great games, everybody will still say it's terrible/shit/disappointing/worst weekly ever because weekly sales like Telltale/Tripwire raised everybody's expectations so damn high.

For the record, Rochard is awesome and is well worth the $1 if you don't have it yet.

Whoever compared it to Shadow Complex is clearly misguided. Shadow Complex is amazesauce. Rochard is decent / enjoyable. Similar is a bit of a stretch aside from the most basic of comparisons.

This is going back a couple of weeks, but does anybody remember if Serious Sam 3 BFE was the regular version, or the deluxe version? I can't even find the Deluxe version on steam, but every other giveaway on steamgifts for SS3 is the deluxe version. I'm guessing that it's people trying to inflate their contributor value when what they really have is the regular version. But I suppose it's also possible that they got it from the weekly bundle a few weeks ago.

More like Shadow Comsex.

Nintendo is composed of egomaniacs (not naming names) who lay their dicks on games they should be outsourcing.

No kidding, Shadow Complex is the best Metroid game since Super Metroid (well and MAYBE some of the GBA Metroids which came after Super if I recall).   I mean seriously if you're going to remake the same 6-7 games for all eternity, at least do it right.

By "similar" I was referring to the 2.5D side-scrolling game visuals. I'm not saying it's the same thing gameplay-wise or that it's as good, just that it LOOKS similar and for a buck, it's worth a shot.

Shadow Complex! ... wait ... what? It's over? Already? WTF!?

You guys really need to stop opening up old wounds ... next thing you know someone'll bring up Advent Rising and I'll have to go find a place to cry myself to sleep. :(

I hope that there is a policy in place with the Humble Weekly sales where games only get one bite at the apple. Meaning that this the one and only time that these games get featured. If that's so, I guess I'm OK with this sale. Get's these games out of the way.

See what I said for Rochard and double it for the Shanks. I'm sure everyone has them but these are two exceptional beat em ups.

I forgot I already had Shank 2 and apparently Shank 2 so now I am up to three copies.  I did not own copies of Shank or Eats however so my purchase was not a total waste.

This looks like a peeled banana. I wanna saaaay... Chiquita. It could also be a spontaneously combusted bird in the distance.

So many possibilities.

Think I'll pass. I seem to remember there being another Two Tribes bundle a while ago, passed on that one too. Might have bitten if all 3 were PWYW, no BTA

Humble Bundle finally got an updated version of Toki Tori for Android. The original one (from HB Android #1) never worked with Android 4.0+ (Ice Cream Sandwich or Jelly Bean).
