Hunting for deals on PC parts...

I know about newegg already and they seem to have some good deals, but I'm wondering if anyone can recommend some other good places for pc parts.

also, are there a lot of good deals on parts around christmas time? I'm thinking of building one now or waiting for some big sales if I can save a few hundred.

Depends, as no one place is always the cheapest. Use pricegrabber or anandtech's RTPE to compare all the sites and just buy from different places.
 
Don't forget Directron.com.. shipping is great if you get multiple items, fast as hell.. and the best damned customer service I've ever experienced of any web retailer (yes... just as good if not better than NewEgg).

I've had multiple occasions where I've received parts 2 or 3 days after orderering w/standard shipping.
