I am in the middle of a fucked up trade - CAG's tell me how to handle

I received a sealed rare GBA game, squished and now opened because the fucking idiot shipped it in a postal envelope. What do I do?

Keep the game and complete the trade

Make the sender pay to have it shipped back


Post a response here in the thread - Im not naming names, but this is fucked up - who thinks it is ok to send a sealed GBA game thru the mail in a fucking envelope?!?!? man am i pissed.
 
Im not paying outta my pocket to ship back - am I wrong? Im real particular about ondition as well. I dont think I want this game - is it wrong to make him/her pay to ship it back?
 
i don't think your wrong for wanting him to pay to ship it back, just make sure to ship it back in an envelope :twisted:
 
Was it this persons first trade? If so maybe common sense did slap him in the head and he just made a mistake.

On the otherside of the issue, sealed and mint was the condition promised so the fact that it didnt arrive in that condition cause the trade not to work out on both ends.

I'd be pissed if i were you too, but i dont collect sealed games so i'd probably let it slide depending if they were a good trader outside of what happened. But it's your call, no one can really tell you what to do.
 
Did you specify that he should send in a box? If not, then the trade is perfectly legitimate. It just depends on the other person whether he/she wants to take it back.

It happened with me once, with Dead of Knight and she took it back without question. She was so considerate that I paid partially for shipping it back.
 
I'm not the one that traded with an idiot that doesn't know how to ship things properly......fool.

It was a suggestion, because $3 isn't worth the hassle if the guy doesn't want to pay for shipping it back. Here's an idea, why not ask him BEFORE you post - because if he apologizes and agrees that this thread is irrelevant.

But since you want to be a dick, there are PLENTY of people that have had problems trading with you, so why not chalk it to KARMA

are you for real? that's stupid thinking - I shouldnt have to hold someone's hand all the way to the POST OFFICE - when you ship a hard DVD case you ship in an envelope - when you ship soft squishy cardboard you use a box and packing material - ...........i guess common sense isnt all too common round here
