Yes but Korea and Japan are the same so if you can make your way to North Korea, you'll automatically get a Japanese visa. I saw it on the Internet.

As someone who desires a career in film, I had been hoping to launch my filmmaking endeavors in North Korea under the tutelage of famed cinephile Kim Jong Il. Sadly, after he died, so did that dream. Apparently, my ambitions to direct Pulgasari II will have to wait.

I visit japan about every year for vacation and recreation.... I don't think I could stand living there for more than probably half a year.

It's sad but Japan always seems like a country in decline. Every year I visit it gets worse and worse as Japan loses its dominance in so many industries. With that being said the food is still freaking awesome and I always have a good time.
