I bought a ps2 memory card adapter,,

I bought a ps2 memory card adapter and it has a port on the back like that on a camera. So i plugged a usb cable into it and tried to plug it into the computer. Well, it doesnt reckonize it.. Is there software that can help it, a driver or sometihing, The ps3 doesnt really reckonize it neither..
I got it from gamestop with no cords..

The device that allows you to transfer PS2 memory card contents to a PS3 does not work on PCs.

Correct me if I am wrong but couldn't you just copy the saves to your PS3, then copy those saves onto a thumb drive? Does the PS3 do anything funny to PS2 saves that wouldn't allow them to be read on a PS2 if you transfer them back over?

The adapter can only transfer saves from PS2 to PS3, but not the other way. It's an one-way transfer.

they fixed it with the firmware update
