I can't seem to get the av cables on a xbox 360 e to connect

i am trying to hook up my xbox 360 e.  I can't get the composite cables to work with my tv.  Do i just connect to the Red Yellow and White  Or do i use the one that the 5 connectors

If you have an old tv you use the red, white, and yellow.  If you have an HDTV you use red, white for audio and the red, blue, green for video.  There is a switch on the cable to change from HD to non HD.

Your connector on your Xbox for AV Is probably bad if you've already tried swapping out the cords-- unforunately there's probablny nothing you can do about it other than sending it to Microsoft. Have you spilled anything on the console or dropped it at all?

The problem was i didn't have it in all the way.
