I can't wait until election-time politcal junkies start flooding vs! With beer talk!

Speaking of PACs, I found this interesting. You can see that the unions predictably have given mostly to democrats, but look at some of the large companies listed there. comcast, AT&T, UPS, Boeing etc. I'm not even going to say which side they gave most of their money to, you can guess I'm sure.

while straddling the lines of the stay classy thread here, isn't it interesting that there's outcry for Obama to "give his PAC money back to Maher"? Isn't that basically openly admitting that PACs are unaudited campaign funds that are not subject to donation limits?
Otherwise, what's the fuss?

Because calling people names is equal across the board of course. Calling someone testifying before congress about an important a slut and prostitute is the same as calling ellie may clampett the "c word*"

*so bob doesn't gets his panties in a wad.

Tall Grass 8-Bit Pale Ale is a jolt to the system to say the least. Hoppier than your average IPA but without the fruity/grassy thing going on. Not the greatest session beer since it fills you up a bit, but one or two hit the spot quite nicely.

Widmer Imperial IPA (Seasonal/One-Off kind of thing from what I understand)
Holy shit! Not sure if it was the 8-Bit coming on really strong an hour or so afterwards, or if this imperial has a very high ABV but I was off my face after 1 bottle. Just checked the site, 8.6% (and apparently available year round) so yeah, it'll get ya wrecked. Lacks the carbonation of your average IPA so it goes down without making noises later on. Very smooth. Love it. Want more. Now.

This thread is useless without pics.

A cream ale, just racked to secondary fermenter yesterday.

More from yesterday, the brewing wort for a trappist style ale.

A middle of the road brown ale, 1 week into a 4 week bottle conditioning. Those are 22 oz. bottles.

My 8 months pregnant wife, bottling the brown ale for me. She's a champion of the species.

I'm telling you guys, this Mitolo Jester Wine is the shit's tits. It's really heavy on the berry and doesn't give the insane wine headache the next morning. Between this and Penfold's Cab-Syrah I think I might be set for life on the vino front.
Ooohhh, I'll have to try that.

those beer rating sites are good, but so many of the user ratings are just assholes who learn how to type out a bullshit sentence, mad-lib style, and rate a beer however they want.

"Poured smooth with a head. Initial nose consisted of . Lightly hopped with . Malt flavor is with a flavor. Lacing was . Beer was average."

There's your framework for every bullshit ratebeer/beeradvocate review. I mostly use it to get a picture of the bottles so I know what to look for in a store.
 true.
So, anyone else heard the rumor that Paul Ryan is a potential VP for Romney?
I've heard rumors of Christie and Rubio as well. It'd be hard to think that anyone that wants a shot in 2016 would sign on with this sinking ship.

It'd be hilarious having two pro-bailout and stimulus candidates on one ticket attack two pro-bailout and stimulus candidates on another ticket for being socialists, and two pro-NDAA and War On Drugs/Terror candidates on one ticket attack two pro-NDAA and War On Drugs/Terror candidates on the other ticket for being anti-freedom.

You don't have to be Sun Tzu to realize that while you can defeat an enemy, you cannot defeat an idea or a concept.

Now quick, travel back to 2001 and tell Dubya that.

I need to fall down on the sink and come up with my drawing for the Flux Capacitor first. Also, aquire a DeLorean which is nigh impossible in MN since we would rust the hell out of that thing in three winters.
We've had some real gems flood in lately, ignore list seems to be growing every week.
And that's why I quote everyone to get past that filter. You're welcome!

Summit has a new IPA called Saga (Odin's drinking buddy) that is weird. It's absurdly good, but not in the normal IPA way. I literally can't explain it other than "I'll have another"

I should have included in my response that somebody should have told bin laden and his little devils that. Maybe thousands of innocent lives would have been saved.

Sigh, time to install greasemonkey again.

Y'all know that I've given up on this joint. But since you've already braced yourselves for "trolling", I'll just go and run this up the flagpole...

Go ahead and s*** on the TRUE alternative. Find "fallacies" and "hidden agendas" and argue methods instead of content. Flap your lips about what form of Marxism will actually work and how many blacks/trees/funky little boutiques the Old Right will eliminate. Whack off to discordant Jazz & ads for delicate, torqueless electric cars. The powers that be will trample all of us when the system collapses...

...and that means YOU, smart-ass!
