I don't know...I wasn't too fond of this commercial. It seemed like a cool enough idea, but it didn't really do a good job of showing me the game.
This is an accurate portrayal of nearly every game commercial out there...
A 90-120 second commercial with only 10 seconds worth of actual game footage thrown in at the end...almost as an afterthought.
Ninja Gaiden: A game people were frothing for, what do we get...? A schmuck playing with sausages.
SC: Pandora Tomorrow: Instead of highlighting their innovative multiplayer they show some fake soldier sneaking around.
FF Tactics Advance: Need I even touch this one...?
The only ones that stray from the above formula seem to be games with great CG FMV...Final Fantasy commercials tend to be nothing but clips of their cutscenes.
One exception though would be Viewtiful Joe...I won't say it had a good commercial...just that it at least didn't go with a live action shot. If they had the narrator speak in Japanese or just dropped him altogether it would have been pretty good though...
oh, and how about the games that proudly display their ratings from known game reviewers...ya know like Newsweek and Maxim...
to get back on topic...yeah the Syphon Filter one was okay...thought my satellite reception was dying at first (it tends to in bad weather)...
 , yeah that FF:TA was one good game commercial. [sarcasm]
I was puzzled for awhile, until I saw it about ten times in one night (the FF:TA commercial). I called the number and there were actually voices there!!!!! It was really wierd....
