Is it worth it? Can I get this game at a better price?
It comes with the case, manual, and game... Not too sure about the soundtrack though.
It's used, BTW...

*UPDATE*

I bought the damn game, and yes, I've used some CAG techniques to get the most out of my trip to GameStop... :D

First, I used got one of my local coupons. I used the top one... Here's how it looks like... ;)

I used that to trade in two games:

- Heavenly Sword [$25 Trade] (Got it for free in TRUs B2G1 sale some time ago, finished it and it's awesome!)
- Super Smash Bros. Melee [$15 Trade] (Found in a pawn shop for $8, I already own a better copy of this game)

I took the coupon, and the games, and I traded them in... If it wasn't for my Edge card and the coupon, I would have gotten only $40 in store credit... I got 60% extra value and my credit went up to $64. :whistle2:#

Then I grabbed the copy of Nocturne that I hid in a DualShock 2 box that was on the wall from the day before... and went to the counter to make my purchase.
I used that 10% email coupon and my Edge card to bring the game down from $59.99 to $47.99+ tax... I used the store credit, and I left with a mint copy of Nocturne w/ $11.XX of store credit left. ;)

So did I do good? :D
You could always try the trading forum.
True, but I bet it'll be hard to get that game from someone here for less than $60 though

It's a rare case where GameStop is the best value.

Go buy it now. Seriously, get off your computer right now and buy it before someone else does and makes $80 on ebay.

Yeah, its a good game for anyones collection. As long as it isnt scratched like the copy I almost bought at gamestop. It was scratched to HELL and they wanted me to pay 60$

Nocturne is worth $140 on ebay?

I know where one is for $60, and I want to buy it just to play. It has the game, box, and manual, no soundtrack. The problem is that the disc looks like it was cleaned with steel wool. I looked at it for a good 5 minutes before declining to buy it.

At least your copy had a disc. I found this game at a GS two weeks ago and they couldnt find the disc. They tried to tell me someone traded in just the case and manual. Who knows.

Sounds like an employee ran off with it. Bastards.

But seriously, Nocturne is one of the best games on PS2...period. There's nothing quite like giving God the finger and killing all of his agents. Get it, play it, make money on it. It's a total no-brainer.

"They couldn't find the disc" means one of the employees wanted to buy it so they lied to you FYI.

You could always use a B2G1 coupon from the booklet and buy 2 other expensive games and trade/sell to offset the cost.

yup, thats really true.

if they do tell you that the game is lost or they couldn't find it, ask to get the case and manual. they will do nothing with it but trash it. if they wont give it to you, then something is up. either they have it and someone put it on hold, or someone from within the store stole the game and wants the cash and manual later on.

but buy nocturne while you can. if you see it, buy it.

Yeah, that sucks. I just wasn't sure if a copy of Nocturne complete sans soundtrack was worth $60 if the disc was all scratched up. I questioned whether it would even work in my system.

good deal. watch ebay every now and then the OST seems to pop up alot. better yet, email atlus and tell them that you accidentally broke the disc in half maybe they'll sell it to you cheap. you can buy the manual and insert from them as well.
