I found some good deals at Menards!

Curlis

CAGiversary!
I didn't realize Menards sold games, but when I was looking for something else I ran into a few shelves of PC and PlayStation Games.
I picked up:
Siege of Avalon Anthology (PC) - $5.99
Tropico: Mucho Macho Edition (PC) - $5.99
-Tropico
-Tropico: Paradise Island
-12 All New Scenarios
-BradyGames Guide

I also saw Darkstone for PS1 for $7.99, but I didn't get it.

They ususally just have a huge thing for Jewel Cased $4.99-$9.99 PC games. Usually what's availbile everywhere else, like "Secret Service Agent" and " (Insert Business) Tycoon". AKA pure crap in disc form (usually, as I know there can be some good games)

I meant to say Menards not Office Max. My bad, I was looking at the Office Max ad while I typed this lol.
What the hell is Menards?
It is like Home Depot. It is a home improvement store.
That's weird they sell Video Games at a Home Depot like store .
EXACTLY.

They try to compete with the two major companies Lowes and Home Depot. They seem to do it wll when viewed from outside the industry but they are a joke within the industry.

Its not at all like Home Depot in that sense. They sell toilet paper, candy bars, all sorts of off the wall stuff.

They also take and sell the stuff that didnt passs inspections the first time through for their "discounted" prices. And they will advertise things like say a hotpoint brand (which is actually GE's lower brand) as GE.

Or have a really good price on something they were out of stock on. So the competitors will have to match the price. Shady but they are not publicly owned so they can get away with it.

Junk is what they sell. But I am off.

They do sell some things that are questionable I must say. But I used to work in the Millwork department and we did have some Emco Storm Doors $100 cheaper than Lowe's!

Also, I bought my side by side maytag Fridge there. They had it more than $100 higher than Best Buy. So with their price guarantee they beat Best Buys price by almost $100.

The biggest Menard's in the world is 3 blocks from my house. How cool is that? Not very, I guess, but a neat bit of trivia if anyone asks you, "Where is the world's largest Menard's located?" Simply reply with, "3 blocks down from dustyeff's house."

My local Menards has always had PS1 games, but never PC games. I may have to stop in to see if they have some Tropico games.
