I got a question about giftcards.

I recieved a Gamestop giftcard last Christmas and I never got around to using it. I just wanna know if there's some sort of expiration date by which they are are no longer usable.

Depends on your local state laws. In Cali, gift cards can not expire.

I would go to your local Gamestop and stop by and check to see if there is anything on it.

In New York, GC are good for 5 years

You can always call the 800# on the back of the card to check.

The card itself should usually say whether they will start taking monthly fees from the balance. A lot of stores don't have an expiration date (Best Buy for example) but the ones that do usually start taking fees after 24 months.
