I got free overnight shipping from Amazon. :D

I preordered Uncharted 2 on October 4th and used my last ECA code. Then last night I decided I wanted a few more things, so I called up Amazon and asked if they could add them to the order, which they did (since only game was preorder and hadn't shipped yet.) Then this morning I get an automated email saying:

"We're sorry for the delay in shipping the order you placed on October 04 2009. We have good news -- the order is now being shipped!"

And now all the items are apparently being shipped overnight for no extra cost since I guess the system thinks they're 6 days late in shipping the items. I have a Prime Trial so I dunno if that works into it at all.

It's a good deal, I'll take it.

sounds like you took the free release date shipping for U2. With prime it's free and will get the game there by tuesday. That sounds like what happened.

Well, yes, that will come per Release Date Delivery, but I ordered several games and a couple accessories that have been out for quite some time. Those are the overnighted items.
