When all art has been forsaken and your blood bleeds dry
Tell the rest of them the world is gone and you know the end is nigh
Tell them Lucifer is laughing; tell them Venus is a saint
Tell them anything just to hear the words you know that they are keeping
Call the last dance down

Chasing after justice
Pretending she is there
Blindfolded we follow her taking what we can
Have you noticed mind is makeup; well it's made from industry
I don't believe the way they live their life, what they're living it next to me
Call the last dance down

So you want me to decide that you'll be changing your mind
She said don't you want something to believe in?
And after all this is gone you should face any wrong
Cursing the day that you were born
Call the last dance down
Call the last dance down
Call the last dance down
Call it all the way
Call the last dance

Using what you're saving to reflect what isn't there
Will our memory be the only thing we will not have forgotten?
All these moments we have martyred and all these faces we believe
And all the ways we twisted who we are, believing that we are free
Call the last dance down
Call the last dance down
Call the last dance down
Call it all the way
Call the last dance… down

So you want me to decide that you'll be changing your mind
She said don't you want something to believe in
And after all this is gone you should face any wrong
Cursing the day that you were born

Call the last dance down
Call the last dance down
Call it all the way
Call… call… call…

Call the last dance down

Morning OTT.

I think I have the flu. I have a fever, my muscles ache, I have a really bad cough and feel just sick in general.

Oh and I'm at work, and I have to go to classes today. Brilliant.

Morning OTT. I have my yearly review at 10:00 am...if it's good, I'm expecting a promotion!

If it's not so good, I expect happy hour to commence shortly after 11:00 am.

Either way, WIN!

Morning OTT. Good luck #83!

Shitty eBay seller has filed a NPB complaint against me. For the listing I paid for within minutes of BIN. For the listing which she took 10 days to mail after telling me it had been sent. For the listing which she then sent the wrong item. For the listing which I had to go to PayPal to get my refund. For the listing which she didn't respond a single time to any of my requests to work things outside of eBay/PayPal disputes.

Now I bet this is some automated auction management system she has that files NPB on any items that show as unpaid after X days. But damn she is lazy and a jackass of an eBay seller.

Thanks!

How does something like that happen? I guess if it's automated they have no way to know of the history. Do you have the opprotunity to respond?

Why am I still awake.

And also why is this art project still not done.

Bah. Imma take a break, try out DMC4, and then come back and finish this.

Unless my head asplode from headachesplosion.

How about a celebratory round of brisket at Smokey Bones?

Speaking of the DMC4 demo, whats the consensus? I dled it but didnt get to try it yet.

I have the flu right now. On Tuesday it hit me all of the sudden, and I've felt like shit ever since. The doctor put me on this stuff called Tamiflu. I'm not sure if it works. This sucks.

Well as it turns out I refunded a buyer a week or so ago so I know that once you refund the linked PayPal payment the item shows up in your list as 'Awaiting Payment' again. I think eBay should fix that or at least make the seller manually sign off that they still expect a new payment despite issuing a refund. So assuming that's also how it works when PayPal takes the money back from you that item would be back in her 'Needs Payment' list and an automated auction management tool would lump it in with the other deadbeats.

That's just my best guess. It could also be she's being vindictive.

As a seller who tries to work with my buyers and make sure they are happy this just completely blows my mind. This lady is lazy and doesn't give a crap about her customers.

Now I probably sell a few things a month on average where this lady sells many things every day, but is that an excuse? Not in my book.

Anyway, yes I will be able to respond. I plan to look up the PayPal transaction ID and note that I did pay for this item but she is a non performing seller. Hopefully eBay will consider it open and shut.

I had a wicked sore throat all last week. I got better around Saturday, but then my gf got sick. I took care of her because I assumed I gave it to her. Now a few days later, I think I got the flu from her. I've never been sick back to back like this, ever. I almost called out of work today, and I've never called out of work before.

That sucks. I took off the past two days and wish I took today off. The best thing to do is sit at home, rest, and drink stuff. You might want to consider that, along with going to a doctor. I'm the type that never goes to a doctor. With my wife pregnant and me feeling like shit, I had to go.

I just remembered, I used my $10 Walmart.com giftcard from the SSBB debacle for 2 Xbox games for $10.

I-Ninja and Dr. Muto

Not bad for $3.78 out of pocket. They'll be used for filler presents for my sons B-Day in April.

I need to play I-Ninja, I got it for the GCN. I used my $10 GC for The Pianist HD DVD. I'm going to pick it up today.

Word of mouth is that its actually a pretty good game, albeit very short.

Tonight I am going to try to get a PS3 for 20% off. I have a reward zone coupon for 20% a HDDVD or Blu-Ray player. The XBOX HD-DVD is specifically mentioned, but the PS3 isnt. And neither are 'Game Consoles'.

I'll probably be shot down, but a 40GB PS3 for $319 would be a nice DVD player. Wish they had the 60GB's though at the store I go to.

Ya, I would love to, unfortunately, no one can cover my shifts (I'm on call tonight and tomorrow and I can only switch with 4 other people, one of whom is in the hospital, and the other ones are away). And it's one of those "if you don't show up, you're fired" type deals. I can't wait to get out of this job in 3 months.

The same with classes. I could skip them, but I would need a doctors note or else I'd be penalized. Unfortunately I live about 45 minutes drive from my doctor, and I don't have a car (I live in the city and my doctor is in the suburbs near my home). So short of going to an ER (which I don't feel that sick for), I can't really do much. And as I said, I'm on call, so I actually can't even leave to go there.

I-Ninja is awesome. I'd maybe put it in my top 10 of last gen. It's nothing epic, but just really fun.

Dr. Muto is probably my least favorite game of the last generation (that I played) It's sort of fun for a while but finally I realized that I had stopped having fun with it about 3 hours ago and set it aside.

I heard good things about I-Ninja.

Dr. Muto was more or less the filler I needed for the 2 for 10 deal on the website. It was the only non-sports game that had a metacritic score above 35 (!) that looked somewhat interesting.

Yeah I think I probably downgrade Dr. Muto more than it deserves because it was one of those that felt fun and then betrayed me.

MCR filed for my missing YSC credit on YF360G.com. Hooray, now let's see how long it takes to resolve... I'm not expecting it's gonna be fast from what I've heard...

Is frosty speaking in tongues?

The gun skill (or whatever they call it) levels up way too slowly in Crackdown. I got the cheesemint for shooting 500 dudes and I was still at a 2 star skill level on the thing. I'm up to 3 stars now but it seems like I have to kill 3 gang members with a gun before it goes up one measly point. Any tricks to upping that faster?

I never had a problem with the gun, I used the huge ass machine gun (the one that shoots like 100 rounds at a time). Though I will say, it will take forever and a day to go from 4 stars to Max on the gun. I pretty much gave up trying to get that one.

I had the biggest problem with the driving one. Kept running into people and knocking it down.

I got the driving one to 4 stars yesterday. It was a little tedious but it goes up pretty much 1 point for every gang member you run over so it isn't too bad. I'd do 30-50 point chunks at a time.

I don't think I have that machine gun yet. I have one that holds 800 bullets total and 80 per clip.

Maybe it was 80/800, not 100/1000. I haven't played since November.

Bummer, I was hoping there was a better one out there for me to find.

I got my agility skill up to 4 stars after collecting 200 or so of the orbs. The higher ones give you more points so I just concentrated on jumping from rooftop to rooftop in the different areas going for the higher ones. That actually turned out to be somewhat fun.

Got the body juggler cheesemint with the firely rocket launcher. Tried for the car juggler but I was using a fairly light car and it didn't seem to really keep it in the air. I guess I need to level up my explosives before that will work out.

I plan on nabbing those at some point soon. I gotta get the one where you throw something 205 feet too. They're easy enough to do, I just have been too lazy.

Yeah I got the throwing one w/o even trying for it by throwing the dead body of one of the bosses off his oil rig. Seems like all you'd need to do is climb a tall building and throw pretty much anything over the side.

I do like that Crackdown has some creative cheesemints.

Indeed, I really enjoyed climbing the Agency tower and jumping off.

I-Ninja was alright. There was a lot of variety in the gameplay and it all plays okay but not enough to really stand out.

Just something about it really clicked with me. It was one of a handful of games I truly played to 100% on the Xbox.

If I honestly looked at all the games I played last gen I'm sure it wouldn't really make my top 10, but I do love the game. I mean would I say I-Ninja is a must play game for any gamer? No, can't say that.

So I've got a minor situation regarding a good buddy of mine.

After not buying a console since the Playstation, I talked him into buying a 360 for Halo 3 (Which wasn't too difficult since he'd come over and god damn mooch off my Halo games before). So after we finished off as much I wanted to in Halo 3 (campaign, some multiplayer, etc.), I decided to shelf it in favor of better wastes of my time. But, due to his current circumstances, he can't actually get more games without giving up Halo 3.

So here's the situation. I could send up a game care package in the form of some extra crap I have laying around (I think a clearance copy of PDZ, Project 8, and Forza2/MAU bundle) to give him something to play. Or I could just cash in those games and buy myself Cars: Mater-national and have enough money left over for Popeyes on the way home.

I know it's not a case of him waiting for me to step in because I never told I'd do this and his roommate is in the same situation. How they're able to actually afford high speed internet is beyond me.

Any suggestions?

Edit: Forgot some of the pro's and con's

Pro: It'd give him something to play. And it'd clear away some space
Con: There's a distinct chance he'd end up trading them in.

I could always ask for them back when he's done, but that sounds like a douchebag move.

He shouldn't be playing games if he can't afford 'em.

Shoulda just stuck with the cheaper systems (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube).

Also, marten is CUH-RAAAAAAAAAZY.

He should have. Come to think of it, it may not even be his Xbox. It might have been the roommate's.

I grew sorta tired of sending him emails at work explaining spoilers for games he wanted to play (BioShock was the latest one) under the guise of "My wife left me..." or "I'm being sued by one of my clients!"

So I told him to buy one for Halo 3 and lo and behold, a month later he has one.

I should probably check that first.

Cars: Mater-national it is!
