Are you guys having fun with it?

I'm trying to figure out a way to get it for ~$30.
Yeah.

Trade in Kane and Lynch and Uncharted.
I played excution and finally managed to finish a match (and got my 'first time' cheesemint!)... gears multiplayer is the fucking shit...

but I had trouble finding a match on and off all day today, when I was looking... :\

I hope it's more active at night... cause I

Hmm. the GS right down the road has Killzone, Mercury Meltdown, Death Jr. 2, and Popolocrois.

I could get all four of those for $41.18 plus tax with 25% off coupon and Edge coupon. :whistle2:k
Just got done playing the DMC4 demo and I'm totally convinced about purchasing it. I thought it was good. Reminded me of an up to date Onimusha. Have acheivements been announced for it yet?
DMC came out around the time of Onimusha, I believe (DMC was October 2001... Onimusha couldn't have been much more than a year or so behind it... but it wasn't a launch title, I don't think, so it's probably closer).

DMC's combat, to me, is more like the new Ninja Gaiden games. I don't get the Onimusha comparison...
Hey Liq, I dont know if you responded to my post or not earlier (I may have missed it) but did you follow a guide of some sort when putting your pc together? If so, would you have a link handy? Budge recommended tomshardware.com. Would you agree?

Time to watch Death Sentence.
Tom's Hardware is a great site. I just made a thread and asked around for opinions on hardware, and I read reviews of processors and such on Tom's, Xbit Labs, and Anandtech.

As for putting it together, I worked through most of it by guessing/asking my dad (an electrical engineer, so he knows his shit) if I needed to. It's pretty straightforward, but googling for a guide would be a good idea.
I got one of those at my college campus. I parked in a spot that looked like a spot, but wasn't -- and I thought it was, but didn't know because it was covered in snow.

Cops don't patrol the campus, either, so someone actually called the cops on me, while I was in my hour-long class.

Thumbs up!
Yeah, I was on UT campus where I got mine. I suppose it was inevitable though, since I've been parking in a two hour spot for 4+ hours for almost 4 months straight now.

All the good parking is permit only, and the fuckers won't give me a permit since I'm not officially a student. =/

When I think about it, it'd probably be smarter to buy Mercury Meltdown on the Wii, and I dunno about Killzone.

I'll think about it. Time to kill the rank 8 assassin.

I never played DMC before and Onimusha is my only frame of reference in that type of game. I was comparing it to the combat style, the orbs, the static camera angles, etc.

Sort of -- but the camera isn't always static in DMC, you can move it as needed in some sections (like in DMC4, the fight with Berral?)...

DMC4 is like Ninja Gaiden (xbox/360/ps3) meets a john woo flick. I've only played the executioner part of the demo, but I've played enough DMC to know it'll remain the same. :) Nothing beats the awesomeness of knocking youre enemy into the air, followed by your choice of jumping and continuing to slice (Dante/Nero don't have an Izuna Drop unfortunately. ;)) or focusing on them and shooting to keep them suspended and then combo-ing them again when they are about to hit the ground -- I'm not sure if you play as Dante or Nero in the exterminator level, but Dante carries 2 guns, which probably work better for the juggling. Man I
God of War 2 shits on the entire DMC and NG series.
Still haven't played it -- what exactly did they change from GoW to make you love it again? Cause I know you hate the first one (especially some of the platforming stuff in 3d)...

sick ass song.

edit: oh what the hell? aren't html embeds supposed to work?

They made everything awesome.

Hard for me to describe, just there's nothing in the game where you go "Oh, why did they do that?" It's just all awesome.

That would be the best news ever if God of War 3 was announced for the 360. I'm fairly certain that would never happen but a man can dream.

Do you have a CC? That'll help out with MM on the Wii since it's very hard to beat it with just the tilt control.

You have a PS3 -- not like you won't be able to play it.
