Look at this GTA IV detail mang.

But perhaps the coolest thing I saw while he was playing was when he stopped touching the controller. Niko stood still while Steve was occupied with something and right there, a taxi got rear-ended by another car.

What followed was pure magic.

The cabbie and the guy who hit the taxi jumped out of their cars and approached each other. Once they got in to each others' face the fists started flying. Meanwhile, cars are honking for the two vehicles to get out of the way. The two keep slugging away and a cop pulls up. He jumps out with his pistol drawn and both men throw their hands to the sky, surrendering. The cop then drags the cabbie away (he punched first), puts him in the backseat of the cop car and drives off. The other driver returns to his car, gets in and pulls away.

I might ask for the 29th, I could say that I have an exam.

I haven't listened to the radio in years because my last few mp3 players lacked fm tuners but when I got the Zune I started listening to my local morning show again. Listening to something live is a nice change of pace from music or podcasts and I definitely missed not having that option.

The only radio I've listened to in years is the classical station in my car, due to my iPod and CDs being misplaced, and the other is this techno station my girlfriend ALWAYS has on in her car. The only thing I miss from radio is Opie and Anthony.

Just cause someone rated it perfect doesn't make it so. Reviewers gave K&L bad scores (and got fired) and it's TFN's game of the year. Reviewers gave SMG and Brawl great scores and I still think both aren't nearly as good as their scores indicate. Reviewers panned that Dynasty Warriors looking Kingdom of Fire (or whatever it was) game and Zoo loved it.

You beat it in a day?? It took me forever to beat that night club level and the dump truck part. I couldn't even finish the game because it was too hard.

I've played enough of those games between my friend with a wii and in store kiosks to know that smash is just more of the same old smash which I've never liked, and mario galaxy was more like mario sunshine to me than mario 64 and while they may be solid games overall, they're nowhere near the near perfect scores they received by many reviewers, at least in my opinion.

And if you haven't played more than 20 mins of SMG, you haven't even tried it.

High scores are indicative of a high quality game.
Whether you like it or not is another thing altogether.

I actually go all the way to the very last section in a single sitting, but then my girlfriend yelled at me for playing Kane and Lynch for 7 hours straight, so I put it away until the next morning and beat it then. I'm happy I only spent $20 though, beat it a mere 24 hours after getting it in the mail.

Bullshit.

And I've played enough of Galaxy to know I hate the wiimote control scheme and that it doesn't work for me. I find the game unbelieveably aggravating, in terms of control. I probably played SMG for about 30 minutes, maybe a little longer. I know I'd never waste my time playing it, should I ever have a wii in my house.

Games, movies, music, just because the masses like it or give it positive reviews doesn't make it great. Random example: The Terminator has a 100% score from critics on rottentomatoes. So does Airplane!. High quality movies? That's debatable.

Edit: OMG, TFN was kidding about K&L?!!?? Really?! What else might he have been joking about that I took seriously... :shock:

d-bag, which satellite stations are all about you?

I think I'm gonna get rid of Sirius at the end of this month, I just don't like the bulky hardware. I might get it back once I buy a new head unit, but my priority right now is finding a good iPhone/iPod setup for my car. I do really like how you can discover brand new artists that you'd have absolutely no chance of hearing on terrestrial radio, and I'm not even talking about remotely obscure artists.
 
Damn. The AFC West has four of the seven easiest schedules and the AFC Central has four of the nine hardest schedules, so it seems like they want the West to get better and the Central to be knocked down a peg. It's not even like the Patriots got a slightly easier schedule, they're opponents' total records are 9 games below the second easiest schedule.

Edit: You seriously didn't get the sarcasm until now, Frosty? Wow.
