Ok so the game isn't so new. But I just got my 360 recently and picked it up for $25 (but used trade-ins to pay for it). It was a great time!

So.. any word on a sequel? Would love to see a new Kameo with choice of being Kameo or Kalus..(and even a co-op with them, instead of co-op with 2 Kameos)

Did anyone else have a good ol' time with this game???

I just got it the other day from a friend who works at Best Buy (he got it off the retail site), but I haven't had time to play it yet. I did put it in the 360 today to download the updates and the free stuff on the marketplace and I thought it was pretty funny that I got an achievement worth 0 points for downloading those new skins.

I really enjoyed this game. Dont really know why evryone dissed it so much. Kinda like Zelda but no as long. I hope there is a sequel.

Easily the most impressive launch title for me. Now get all 1000 GS points like me, ohhhhh! Seriously though the game's artistic design is just a rarity these days. Rare still has their touch, Viva Pinata will follow in Kameo's footsteps.

I thought that it felt like it was a Zelda game too. Wish Microsoft would make this series into a top series. Hey Nintendo's got a bunch of them..xbox really has Halo. They could use another one.. like Kameo =)

There were rumors earlier in 2006 that Rare was almost done with Kameo 2. No one has talked about it for a while though. Expect a 2007-2008 release date.

Also watch out for the Kameo movie, imdb.com

I recently picked this up from compusa for $20, haven't really played it much yet though. I'm still working on getting more points on some other games. I really like how colorful the game is though.

I think the game is well done & look's beautiful. Stuck on the water level boss at the moment though.

I liked the game too, but I hated the shadow ghosts boss fights, and since they used him multiple times I found those parts boring and tedious.

Do you mean Kameo: Elements of power? If you are do people really find that game good? I thought it was horrendous...

I thought the game was so-so. I guess it was a better outing for Rare than Grabbed by the Goulies.

What Rare really needs to do is make a Jet Force Gemini sequel. I always hate as the real gems out there never get the same treatment as the generic crap they keep pumping out.

Kameo was the game i played the most at launch. I enjoyed it. Most of it was predictable though, same sequence of events over and over.

I hate most platformers like Spiro et al. However, I enjoyed Kameo for the most part. It minimized the 'collect assorted shit' and had some of the coolest boss battles in recent memory.

Chances are, a sequel wouldn't take long -- even with Rare's reputation as delaying games forever. After all, the first game was in the works for so long, going through GC and Xbox iterations before being released. I actually have a playable copy of the Xbox version.

I personally haven't played my 360 copy more than a minute, to help my wife with part of it. She wasn't too into it, though.

And remember: They made a sequel to Blinx. Microsoft wants a diverse library -- including more kid-friendly titles -- so it's a pretty sure bet.

Oh he was a BITCH.

I had alot of fun on the Snow Temple Boss!! I dunno why, it was just a lot of fun!

During the Thorn battle...did anyone else get really HYPE when you "defeated" him and Kalus came over and started to heal him?? It took me a while to realize what she was doing and I got SO mad at the bitch! I had to fight that fat fuck again (though, with very little health)

Really do want a Kameo/Kalus game. They left alot of possabilities for a sequel..especially with that crackpot Mystic.

Plus I just want to see more Aunt Leenya. She was sexy.

How does the game play like? Can you punch and kick and stuff like other platformers? I tried the demo on marketplace and all you could really do was a flip kick was lame if done over and over again. Can you do combos and stuff?

As kameo, you pretty much are stuck with the kick. If you transform into one of your elemental warriors (using the hotkey buttons or through the Whatnot Book) there are different combos that you can unlock. The fun/skill is swithing to the right warriors and the right times.

I'm glad to see this game getting some love. I enjoyed it even though I could never find my 100th elemental fruit to get the 100% completion acheivement.

In my top 3 for the system so far. Got it at launch and probably played it more than any other game. I cracked the top 20 in 'A' Rankings before 2006. I'm sure that has been blown away by now though. :)
game's biggest flaw was that it was too short. I'm pretty sure most people found it fun.
It's not that it is too short, it is the final few stages are completely rushed. You never get to use the final 2-3 elementals effectively. They were kind of a waste. The game easily takes 12-16 hours, which isn't bad. Add in the A rankings and new multiplayer modes/achievements and you have another 10 hours. I've spent about 30 hours on it, easily.

Yeah, Kameo was a good game, and sadly underrated. Kameo, DOA4, and Dead Rising are my top 3 on the system so far. PG3's up there too, though.

That's the only 3 games I have for my 360 that I just got. Looks like I made some wise choices ^_^

Wow, quite a coincidence there. :)

Though DOA4 just started to get on my good side. At first it felt just like DOA 3, which is good! But it was DOA 3.. but really hard.. :(

But I'm coming around. Beat story mode w/ everyone..unlocked everyone but Tengu...even beat 2 people online :D

ON TOPIC THOUGH: I actually just realized the release date on the power pack was like September 26?? That's kinda cool that almost a year later they are updating the game. I know some people thought $5 is alot for costumes and a few modes of play..but doesn't it beat $3 (or $4) for a stupid stadium? ;)

Now I wonder if there will ever be any more "power packs" for this game. Sucks you get 15 more achievements..worth 0 :(

YES, I loved Jet Force Gemini way back when, it was so good, and I remember playing it a lot. I would welcome a sequel to it much more than Banjo Kazooie, but of course, I never really played BJ much.

As for Kameo, excellent game, I got my 360 in late August with Madden, and within a few days I got Kameo, and I stayed up late playing it, matter of fact, after a break on it, I just beat it today, and overall the game was very enjoyable. I love the gameplay style, with changing from Element Warrior to Elemental Warrior, although I would have liked to obtain Thermite earlier in the game.
although I would have liked to obtain Thermite earlier in the game.
I was under the impression that thermite was by far the most overpowered elemental, and was just meant for the final boss really. Released earlier the game would have gone from easy to cake walk.

Personally, I love Kameo! I think the graphics are bright and beautiful--a nice change from the "realistic" graphics of other games (which are beautiful in their own right, but drab)...there are times when I just sit and enjoy the graphics.

I've also really enjoyed the gameplay--but then it's the kind of game I typically prefer. I think this game gets knocked just because it has cute elements on a system not known for that.

The only downside I have had is getting confused at some points on what to do. I swear that first damn tree boss took me forever. I thought I had tried to do what was needed, but apparently hadn't and so it was a major "oh ####" when I realized how easy it was in the end.

In any case, Kameo and Oblivion are all I really play on the 360--but both have given me plenty of entertainment. I look forward to any sequel and hope Viva Pinata might actually be decent.

I'm going through my backlog of 360 games (honestly, to see what to get rid of while they still have value), and played 2 hours of Kameo last night. It was actually a darn fun game. I'm impressed, and plan on playing more of it. Of course, it doesn't hurt that I netted 160 Achievements in that time. :)

Ok I'm bumpin this up because I am in need of help.
If you have the "Game Complete" achievment--help!

I have 99. UGH. SIGH. CRIES. I need 1 more fruit. I Have a guide..but it seems like I've gotten them all (but clearly am missing just one..)

What "one" did you have most trouble getting--or was your last one? Maybe I can get some ideas here...

Hopefully I can get something.. I'm sitting here with a guide trying to go to all the worlds and doing each fruit again lol :(

Fired this game up for the first time in over a year.

It's actually pretty enjoyable for what it is. Some of the bosses were really fun as well as some of the elementals you change into.

I am on the way to find the last elemental right now. Getting the feeling (as was mentioned earlier in the thread) that these later levels seem kind of rushed.

My GF loves playing Kameo (and is stuck on the water boss right now too LOL)
Looks like a very cool game to me. I haven't really played it myself though.

Kameo is ok, but will be really fun when I'm done being stuck. It tells me I need to do a mid air transformation, and I can't do it! This is at the beginning of the game. Anyone know how?

If you are in mid-air you can transform to another Elemental Warrior, so for example if you jump off a ramp as Major Ruin you can transform to another warrior in mid-air, just press the hot-key you've assigned to that warrior.

I'm really enjoying Kameo, picked up a non GH copy for $30 from BB, was well worth it.
I got the demo and it was alright. I would like to buy it for $10 shipped (used would be okay with me).
The demo is crap and not a true representation of the game.

I was surprised to find that I hated Kameo-surprised because I loved Starfox Adventures and the N64 Rare platformers.

I hated Kameo's controls, hated the look of the game (Kameo is a hideously ugly character design IMO), and hated the gameplay.

Luckily I really liked Perfect Dark Zero. I was really expecting to like Kameo a lot more than PDZ.

Hey if anyone wants to play co-op, PM me. There's a couple more co-op acheivements I would not mind getting. :)
