I had sworn off RPGs, but I gave in today. Damn you, brain...

I bought Pokémon Ruby today. It was cheap at EB (thanks to my Edge card and that spiffy 30% off coupon), and I've been wanting it for a while because it's been years since I've touched a Pokémon game...so I bought it.

So much for free time...I've got a feeling that I'll be playing this much more often than I can afford to. I don't have time to play, but I'm going to anyway. >_<

Pokémon: My anti-Halo.

So...anyone else made any purchases they've regretted lately? Or have any advice for someone renewing a Pokémon addiction? :)

Renewing the addiction? Get the FireRed or LeafGreen versions. I just couldn't get into them after Yellow, until I picked up FireRed. It's just something about that first story that was better than the rest. Hope you know someone with Sapphire!

I just started Sly Cooper and while I certainly don't need to play another platformer - I'm loving it so far...

I never had a GBC and never got into Pokemon. I've tried playing some games, but they just aren't fun for me. Right now, I'm trying to play Robopon (a pokemon rip-off). I just can't really get into it either and I'm mainly playing it to laugh at the poorly translated japanese dialogue.

I traded in a bunch of stuff at GR and i had about $70 so i got the deal where you get used games for $10 if you trade 2 games in. so i got MGS and MGS2 and Tales of Symphonia. Tales is one of my favorite games of all time. its so fun, addictive, and its hard enough, but not so hard that it gets boring. The combat system is unique and its LONG. ive played 30 hours and im still on the first disc. My friend got up around 75 hours just to get to the second disc!!!!! the plot is also pretty good and there are a lot of good plot twists. i defintately recommend you picking this one up.

actually, i just sold my xbox, spare ps2 and some other stuff, and im going to get rid of some games pretty soon here too, because ive just made too many damn purchases

Some people really like to take they're time.

I totally regret buying the GTA pack that has the first three games 1, London 69, and 2. I dont know why i did. I just seemed like it could be fun and it just sucked. So thats 20 bucks gone. Im just way to lazy to return games under 30 bucks.
