I hate surfing Ebay's closed auctions and finding things like this...

How does something like that slip by? I never even look any more because finding a REAL bargain on eBay is just about impossible these days.

OH THE HUMANITY

that is insanely cheap for a top loader, the seller obviously didnt know to emphasize that. i already have a top loaded that my gf bought me but i totally would have bought another one at that price, jesus!

That auction didn't even go 15 minutes before someone did the "buy it now" deal. You'd have had to have been there at just the right moment (just like with a thrift store or yard sale find), so you can't really get too depressed over missing out on it. Maybe next time will be your turn to get lucky.

Buy it now is the best thing eBay ever put out if you are a buyer. When they first brought that service out I used to spend all day skimming eBay for deals. I once got about $1500 worth of Transformers in perfect condition for $40 thanks to "buy it now". I stopped doing it when it became impossible to get the really good deals anymore. No matter how fast I was in finding stuff immediately after it was listed people seemed to beat me to it. Plus I completed my Transformers collection of up to 1984-1986 stuff so I didn't need to hunt as much, heh.
thats what he gets for no reserve
Do you even know how ebay works? Having a reserve on this auction wouldn't have done a damn thing. The seller obviously had no idea what a top loader was worth, and that's what this whole post is about. The seller put a low buy it now price, and someone bought it and got a great deal. A reserve wouldn't have done anything, seeing as how BUY IT NOW was used.

ya know, good for that guy! how awesome would it be to land that deal. someone somewhere is very happy, and that makes me happy a little too :D

I emailed him asking if someone hasnt payed for it yet that I would.

He said that the guy used buy it now, but never payed for it...so he took my $60 I offered him.

He shipped it already!

That's a bunch of bull, the seller already left feedback for the buyer who bought it saying "super fast payment". Nice try though.

That's odd, he took my $50 also. But he gave me a tracking number: 1234567890, so I feel pretty safe.

LOL....who cares really? In the end, its still just gonna collect dust.

You'll play it for a week and then thats it. I'd rather save up my hard earned cash for a PSP.
Wow, I must be dumb. I've never even heard of a top-loading NES.
Sort of a brief footnote in Nintendo's history. It was released a little while after SNES had been out. Basically the same situation as the PSone, except not as aggressively marketed or widely produced (which is why it's so sought-after by collectors).

Not dumb, just ignorant. There's a difference.

Damn, those are the same numbers I use as the combination for my safe I store my rare/valuable games in. Weird.
Somebody set up a fake SuikodenII auction with a BIN of $9.99. Then we can all laugh.
Actually, there was a Suik 2 auction with BIN for $9.99 a while back. I have no idea if it was legit or not.

I saw a Super Mario RPG with a BIN of $1.50 (or $0.50; I can't remember which). Bidding started at $0.01. I missed it by two hours. Someone had been cleaning out storage or something and didn't know the worth of it.

I use the same combination to store my reserves of oxygen.
