I want to get a DVD player that is fairly reliable and easy to use. Too many experiences with players burning out in a year or less, or having a crappy convoluted remote control... Yes, I'm aware DVD players are pretty much disposable these days, but I'd welcome your suggestions for a relativelty trouble free one.
Basically, it something I will be using in my room (CRT) but also would like to take it into the living room to use with our 70" projection hi def TV, so something with component cables, obviously but it doesn't have to be absolute cutting edge upconverting 1080 or anything.
Small size or ability to play VHS would be a plus but are not essentials.
