I have heard so many things about the revolution.. Question?

From the thigns I've read so far from Gamespot it seems to be suggesting it'll start with the bigger hits of both the NES and SNES, They'll likely focus on nintendo titles and maybe later the best of the 3rd party titles after some sort of deal is made with people like Konami and Capcom. Then later the N64 stuff again first focusing on the 1st part games and branching out.
But the main thing is they'll probably only be pushing "hit games" rather than "every game".

Earthbound was specifically mentioned by Iwata. And I'm sure that the SquareSoft RPG's will be among the very first third party games to see the light of day.
Alpha, is that info from Nintendo, or is that journalists' speculation? I assume that that is how it will happen as well, but I haven't read anything from Nintendo yet. I hope that's from Nintendo.

So are those two. They are available on the SNES. They won't be just releasing games without remakes. The point is consolidation, ease, lack of clutter and making them available to those who don't have "other platforms."
I know that even though I own all of those carts (and many others), I will get them all for Revolution if they are available for a reasonable price. It makes life so much easier. I have always wished that Nintendo would rerelease all of their games on just a couple of discs or make some sort of adapter that played their cart games on one system. This is a much simpler solution to that.

But everyone can't. Everyone doesn't have a PS2 or GBA. Besides that, there is the rest of what I was saying: It makes things easier. I'm a lot more likely to play (and buy) a game from my couch that I won't have to mov e to get, will be virtually invisible (less clutter) and can be played on what I am already using than I am to go out and buy FFII for $25-35 on the GBA or one of the others at $20 for the PS1 (and that's assuming that I have a GBA and a PS1/PS2). You may not want those titles, but they are very key titles.
