I have noticed an increase of spam bots posting.

They are working on it. This is stuff that was used against CAG all the time but they don't have all the blockers activated yet. Or at least that's my interpretation. We are dealing with all the spam manually now. Though it does seem that perhaps the rate has decreased already - so maybe the blockers are back up.
It's mostly spammers that registered during the time we were on vB. John put together a script that didnt let them post links until they had x posts. We will impliment that here and some additional measures. The anti-spam stuff is actually much better on the new software. I can see many more potential spammers are being blocked upon registration on the new site. Its also way easier to nuke a spammer.
