I once heard somebody refer to Nelson Mandela as one of this century's most influential African-Americans.

Has it really gotten that bad that we can't say the word "black" when to refering the to the color of my car, the videogame, controllers, pens, and the term referred to as a companies attempt to get out of the negative profits of red. I can see it now:
Me: Can I buy that videogame? *intends to buy Black for the PS2
Employee: Which one?
Me: Uh...Black.
Employee: Sir, please do not use that word!
