No bundle or anything. $430 shipped and including sales tax. Let's hope they fulfill the order because I've heard there are tons of cancellations. It was in stock for around 5 minutes and I managed to get in there... oh well we shall see...

Now I might try and score some xbox games from the TRU clearance since I never owned an xbox before... halo - here I come (finally)!

The campaign mode is worth $10, easy, but you won't experience the joy of Halo 2 unless you play online.

Yes, you can. It's good to see that you didn't get all wrapped up in the hype and are an informed consumer. :)

Glad to see you finally got one though. Hope to see you on Live sometime.

I've never played a game online in my life. I also don't think I'll be playing many xbox games either - I can't remember the last time I played a PS1 game on my PS2...

You're going to get Live though, right? I honestly don't think I would recommend a 360 to someone who wasn't going to get Live. At least not at this point.

yeah, I'm planning on taking the plunge.

Single player games can often be great experiences (RPGs, for example) but online gaming against skilled, mature, cool people (like CAGs) is the best way to game.

Besides, I may be wrong, but can't you play online on weekends if you only have the default silver membership? If so, you can try out Live before possibly dropping cash on a subscription.

its like 50 bucks a year.. no big deal for live.. it really extends the life of a lot of games (even Halo 2, while I'm not the biggest FPS fan on the planet its ok. ) I for one would pick up Project Gothem Racing 3, or I'm sure there are still people running through Xmen Legends 2 and not to mention Burnout Revenge (if it was anything like the dedicated Burnout 3 fan base)

It shipped today! I picked the slowest shipping time (5-7 days for $7) so it won't arrive until next week but it's coming!
