Okay, normally I don't brag, but there's a first for everything. I was visiting a friend and we were at some dinky mall and decided to go into a game store. Nothing huge, but decent. But as I was looking through the bin of ps2 games, I find La Pucelle Tactics......for 14 dollars. Okay, just had to get that out of system. Thanks!
 
So the best deal of your life is $6 off of the price you can get it from Target, or $8 off its eBay value?

If I actually enjoyed this game (which I didn't) I suppose I'd applaud you more actively.

Provided any Targets near him still have any. The MSRP is still $50 everywhere else. All the La Pucelles in my area Targets were gone in less than a day after they dropped it.

Speaking of fast food triumphs:

One day my Dad and I stop at Sonic to get some drinks. Our total comes to in and around $3. My Dad only has a $20, so the girl goes inside to get his change. She brings us back $36 and doesn't realize it! We took the extra money and bought some CDs at Best Buy with it. Part of me feels bad because she probably got reprimanded for the mistake. But the again, it was her mistake, not ours. And what a mistake it was. :lol:

I know of two targets around me that still have two copies of it... I don't think the word really got out here.

Word sure as hell got out in my area. And I don't think La Pucelle was part of the CC sale.

My point is, the MSRP is still over 3 times what he paid. Not the best deal, but let him have his fun. :wink:

the $5 sale has ruined me.. i have such a back-log of games i cant stand to buy anything else.. im even debating halo 2 till i finish some of these.. the only games ive bough in months were amped (5 shipped) and ESPN NFL 2K5 ($10.84 shipped with Terminator bonus dvd using coke codes!) :)
 
Yeah, La Pucelle for $14 is an excellent deal - after buying it for 20 at Target, I realized that it would have easily been worth the normal $50. It's especially cool to find it in some random store you wouldn't expect it to be in, in a clearance bin - despite that it came out like 3 months ago! To an RPG fan, getting that game for so cheap is a great deal. Good RPG's usually stay expensive for a long time... (lol, i originally typed 'expenisve')

The problem becomes getting Disgaea at a cheap price as well, since obsessing over one of the two, makes you want to get the other one...

Yaeh, that's what I'm trying to find now Disgaea. Don't forget about the third, which is Phantom Brave.

I looked for this game at Target, but it was always gone. In fact, I don't think I've seen this game in any store now that I think about it. I guess I was just suprised to see it in a clearance bin, after seeing it go for 45-60 on half.com. And yes, I do get excited over saving money of any amount. What can I say, I'm easily entertained.

Staying behind the curve is awesome. Have fun playing your cheap games, and then when you get around to getting Halo 2 it will be cheaper, and just as fun as if you got it brand new!

I still use my college ID to get discounts on movie tickets and I graduated 6 years ago!

I once bought a jacket for a job interview (old man's sports coat) at a church rummage sale near my college (1988ish) for $2. A few days later I was showing it to someone and found $60 in the inside breast pocket. I considering giving the money to the church (for about 1 minute) but kept it instead.

Yaeh, it truly is when you think about. Now I sort of feel happy of my tremendous backlog of games. :)
 
Nice find. I can't find La Pucelle at any of my local Targets. The only place I've seen it is Toys'R'Us, and they were selling it at full price..

I'm still waiting on another Disgaea deal (and before you ask, my CC and Toys'R'us didn't have it).
