I just won a DJ Hero bundle on ebay for $14.50

Got my DJ hero from dealtree i won for $20.50. It was shipped in a box with the DJ hero box inside of it, packed really well actually. Actual DJ hero Box was in OK shape, some tape on it, Game case was crushed pretty bad but not cracked, turntable looked brand new, but upon testing it, the Green and Red buttons both register Green+Red presses when hit individually, making the game basically unplayable. Emailed them about an RMA, but haven't heard back yet.

Just got my order in yesterday, everything works, my only gripe is that it shipped it shipped in its original box, no double box.

Damn this thread . . . I just "won" one for $19 for PS3 . . .

My daughter has been interested in it. Hopefully it will work out.

They finally shipped me a new game, I should have it next Tuesday, hopefully the turntable doesn't have any problems.

i saw these on ebay for around this price a day befor this thread was posted but decided not to risk it, looks like i'd be covered if anything was broken though. so now im thinking about getting it, though i have to wait because i just got a game. anyway, is it worth the $15-$25 or would the money be better spent elsewhere and what's the difference between regular and renegade?

I bought mine for $16 and it was definitely worth it. If you like Guitar Hero/Rock Band, you would most likely enjoy it. I think the renegade edition has a nicer looking turn table and a carrying case/stand to go with it.

Mine came today . . . I completely forgot about buying it and was like "what is this big box from Dealtree?"

It was double-boxed but the outer sleeve of the system box is pretty messed up. The turntable looks great (almost new but not quite) and the game was still sealed . . . but no batteries :whistle2:(

I booted it up and the turntable seems to work great. I wonder if this is a case where someone bought a second (for dual play) and then returned it later . . .

Anyway, I just "won" a second one on fleabay for $14.50 . . . so we can try 2 player.

16.66 for mine. Came in a brown box with green wrapping. Looks brand new, just no batteries. Very pleased
pissed at myself for buying one for 60 a few months ago. it is still sitting here unopened.
Yeah, this is a common feeling when you're a CAGer . . .

I've tried to hold the line on buying almost anything at more than $20 for a long time. I'm still kicking myself for buying Assassins Creed (original game) for $40 in early 2008 . . . its still sealed. I've also seen the beauty in used games . . . actually breaking the seal is a barrier for me if I don't think I'll have much time. If its already open, I don't mind just popping it in for a few minutes.

Almost everything drops in time--and usually huge drops. I'd love to play God of War III but I'm holding off because eventually it will be $10 (used at least).

So I bought a bundle for 20.50. It came, turntable was broken. They issued me a full refund and let me keep the game and broken turntable. I just won a turntable alone from them for 10.50 on sunday. Hopefully this one works, and i've made out like a bandit!

I know this is a fairly old thread. But for anyone still thinking about buying this from Dealtree auctions, I would strongly suggest you not to. To keep a long story short, I was able to snag the 360 version for $21. After that they sent out a package with a bad shipping sticker and it got returned to them. After weeks of talking to their customer support, I got them to resend the package for free. Just yesterday, the reshipment was returned to them again! Because: "the shipper requested for the package to be returned..." If it weren't for all this trouble I would of had my package 4 weeks ago. Horrible experience. :nottalking:

I got my package just fine. Luck of the draw. I also noticed they barely have any DJ Heroes and Rides listed now, guess the craze is over.

I've actually order a few things from them recently. Also Cowboom and a couple other ebay names are Bestbuy also...

Bought my 8gb Zune from them was in mint condition, also bought an Asus G51VX-RX05 laptop from them which I'm typing this on right now.

Both came in perfect condition. I've actually started to check there auctions out on a normal basis cause they do have some pretty good deals.
