Working on finishing SotC, just knocked off the 9th Colossus. Somewhat tough to figure out since you've got to put your life on the line to position it just right.
Happy T Day, OTT. How was everyone's day so far?
Pretty boring, just filling out some college apps, doing a draft of my personal statement, and may I comment on your sig
Happy T Day, OTT. How was everyone's day so far?
Uneventful.

I think I'll start on South Park season 6 now. Or maybe Undeclared. :whistle2:k

Wow. I downloaded the winzip trial a while ago so I could get some fonts for Photoshop. I was going through my old files a second ago, and found an unzipped copy of unFREEz that I don't remember downloading. =\
No TURKEY for you! :bouncy::bouncy::bouncy::bouncy::bouncy::bouncy::bouncy:
Now, now Lulu. Even the most cantankerous and belligerent amongst us should be welcomed in during this holiday season. :D

I think shortly I'll go do some level grinding in DQVIII and watch a couple episodes of Azumanga Diaoh.

I think I might go to Best Buy to pick up the $400 laptop, need one for college (wow I sure have talked lots about that today). Dunno what time I should go, I'm thinking 2am.

Dissapointing turkey saved by orgasmic cheesecake.

College aps, already? Aren't they due in Jan/Feb? And no you may not comment on my sig. She's not there for your personal enjoyment ;)

Mike's not cantankerous or belligerent. He's just Canadian

Uneventfully good or bad? I may start a dvd as well.
I wouldn't be too worried... there have been far, far better videogame deals across the last three months than there are tomorrow.
True. I was just scanning EB's BF deal and nothing too exciting there. B2G1 might be the only thing I might take advantage of.

I should probably be going to bed soon. Maybe watch some Simpsons and head to bed. I want to be up by 5:30 so I can get to Target by 6. Hopefully while everyone crowds around the cameras and games I can sneak around and get some DVDs.

edit: Well, I'm going to bed. alarm is set for 5AM. I'll be sure to check in tomorrow morning when I get back. :D
Is zero a positive or a negative number? ;)
From what I remember in my Calculus class last year the whole idea of positive and negative numbers is based on the number zero. So, 0 is neutral. But, used in Absolute Value Formula's 0 is a positive number.

See kids, you do use Calculus in your life. Like answering questions on CAG or checking your mortgage and the ever famous making sure your keeping up on your child support payments.

Ah, go to hell

I was eating Turkey and pie months earlier, jerks.

Is there a list of titles anywhere? I can't seem to find a thread for it...
Happy Black Friday everybody.

I miss out on all the BF "joy"....
Watching the morning news is rather sureal today. They're doing live shots from storefronts, and basically making fun of people as they come out, and then had the obligitory "make fun of the dumbasses in line" segements.

I especially loved the rocket scientist talking about being there for all the great bargains, and then in the next breath said he saved about 2000 dollars, while spending $10,000.

Anyone see the new commercial where the prostitute is trying to resuccitate a gentleman caller? I have no idea what the commercial is for, but it's hilarious.

And they banned a nintendo commercial for a mouse humping a micro.

It's for some type of phone from Sony, I believe.

And the hooker refers to the gentelman as "senator", which is hysterical.

Good morning, CAG!

So, I got up at 5AM. I hate getting up early. In any case, I got toi target by 5:30, and there were around 100 people in line. So I got to the back of line, and when they opened, we slowly walked in as some assholes who were just pulling up started to walk in. So some Target dude stopped them all. Anyhow, I got in and went to get the camera, and the people had a whole huge dolly and a half of these Kodak Easy Share Cameras. Must've have 200+ of them. It was crazy.

Alright, so I got to the mall early and I was the first one outside EB. So I bugged one of my coworkers through the gate, since he was waiting for the manager to get there so he wouldn't have to open alone. I thought I'd have to work cause the line started forming and my manager was late. I got my schedule. I work Saturdays o_O My fucking room-mate gets Tuesdays during the afternoon and I get Saturday evenings!?!? He also gets more hours then me. Bastard.
Anyways, I bought a bunch of DVDs at EB, ones I was hoping were still there. Full Metal Alchemist Vol 1-4 for 5.99. And Scorge of the Worlds a D&D interactive DVD for 14.99 and Ghost in the SHell Innocence for 5.99. I then went to Walden Books and got buy 4 manga get one free. And then I went up to Sam Goody to check things out there. They had a few 8.99 games but nothing I gave a damn about. And then I had a Chik-fila chiken biscuit and tatertots and walked home. ETA in the mall 1 hour 20 minutes. Total shopping/eating time 50 minutes. Damn good if I do say so myself.
I guess I hate Black Friday less now. As long as you go to somewhere that no one cares about early enough it is not hell.

I fucking hate people who try and walk in a store or movie when there is obviously a huge fucking line already waiting there. :bomb: I hate it even more when the employees let them do it! At least the Target employees stopped them. I always wanted to do that to people.

Yeah. The entrance is on the veeeery right side of the store, and I was all the way down on the left. The end of the line ended up way down around the building, and these people were just waltzing on in. I'll be damned if they get my DVD player! :bomb:
Is zero a positive or a negative number? ;)
Ah, late replies, so delicious...anyway, I say that zero isn't a number at all. It's just a point of reference used to measure distance on a number line.

Zero is neutral. You have positive, negative, and neutral. Just like atoms have protons (+) electrons (-) and neutrons (0).

Bah and fie. Zero isn't really there at all. I suspect the Olmecs invented it because they were high all the time and thought it looked cool. I can just imagine their stoned conversations on it. "Man, what if there's, like...nothing between 1 and negative 1?" "Dude! What if we're nothing?!" "Oh man! Oh man...this shell glyph looks so cool..."

Olmecs also invented Olmec.
What manga did you get, Lulu?
From Far Away Volume 7
Record of Lodoss War Volume 1
Blood the Last Vampire Novel
Trigun Maximum Volume 6
and
11th Cat Volume 1

It was a tough decision. Most are for my boyfriend when he comes home after working at Target BF morning, he deserves it. I sacrificed buying stuff for me. (ie. the first and last manga are for me)

My manga collection just keeps getting bigger.

Oh by the way I ordered Jonathan's Christmas present: Bleach PSP game, Gutts and Griffin plushes (Berserk), Tactics manga vol. 1, and City Hunter manga Volume 3. I think I picked well.
I think I found the perfect gift for my best friend. I was going to get him a DS, but I think this is cooler. It's a Legend of Mana magnet/puzzle book. The Magnets can form a calender and my best friend loves Legend of Mana. So it's a questions of the practical DS or the cool thing he would never get for himself.

Well I guess I should give my cousins a call. We're supposed to get together today and do something. I'm not sure what yet, but it "Feels Like 23°F" so hopefully it's something indoor.

As I've stated before, I'm functionally illiterate. My posts are only readable by increasingly unlikely coincidence.
