I love the 80's. I was 2 when it was over, but eh. The music kicks ass.
You were 2? You youngin! The only thing good about the 80's was that they inspired American Psycho. There is nothing else redeeming that shitty excuse for a decade.
I saw a lot of American Psycho, and thought it was a pretty shitty movie. I quit watching after a while though because being force fed what went on in the 80's got old
I remember her being hotter. Oh well, guess its like the Transformers, I just remember everything from the '80s being a lot better than what they actually were.

Oh come on, the part where he takes an axe to some guy's head while critiquing Huey Lewis and the News is pure comedic gold.

I guess you missed the humor in it. How could you not love a soliloquy on Huey Lewis before axing a guy in the face?
And dropping the chainsaw down several flights of stairs to peg a hooker in the back? Genius! The subsequent break-up scene in which he draws the scene in crayon? Pure gold! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to return some videotapes.
Oh, and by the way, it was a book by Bret Easton Ellis first
American Psycho is great.
Frisky - I posted a list of the Halo CAG clan members in the ignore thread. If you want to ignore them, I'm not even sure if you can see this since you probably ignored me already, but hey maybe someone will quote me!
Try to get a reservation at Dorsia now you ing stupid bastard!!!!
Has anyone read the book. My brother has, and he says that it's pretty good. He and I also love the movie. I gotta read the book; it's supposed to be even better than the movie.

The book should be arriving at my doorstep any day now. It's been one of the glaring omissions in my book collection for a very long time. Decided that since I had an Amazon GC to use, it was time to rectify that.

Yup. I think it's the only edition highly available right now. Prepare for even more gruesomeness, though. EvilMrEgg has read it, and told me some pretty messed up stuff that made me squirm just hearing about it.

Squirm? Shit I was laughing out loud when I read it.
What are the new features? I have the UR, but I'd buy it again if it were greatly improved.
And I read the book a couple years ago. Good stuff.
Two commentary tracks, for one. The first edition didn't have any whatsoever. Deleted scenes, some other stuff. And Amazon has it for pre-order at $13.99!!!!
I feel bad for kids whose parents listened to the Sex Pistols when they were young. How do you rebel against them? Become preppy?
that's the 70s! you die!
to answer yer question: I guess so. I have some friends whose parents are hippies and they kind of "rebel" by acting responsible and not smoking weed. go figure.
Beetlegeuse, Beetlegeuse, Beetlegeuse! Great movie, great cartoon.
Michael Keaton, the only true Batman. Screw Bale.
Yes, but maybe that was just so I'd have something to do instead of violently shake in the corner and claw my eyes out.
I guess now is the time for me to categorically deny ever seeing Ghost.
And dammit, I'm trying to watch some naruto on my new dvd player but the subtitles are being cut off. I have a feeling that it's my shitty ass 25" tv's fault though. Now I have an excuse to go back to UE tomorrow and get that 32" HD set.
Unless someone wants to float me $2500 for the Mitsu DLP.
$2500 is alot of BJ's. . . or one very good one. Your choice.
I think Adam West would beg to differ
Unfortunately, West will forever be remembered as the Mayor of Quohog and not as Batman.
