But, then I realized I am poorly informed about different types of computer monitors. Tv sure I understand the lingo but not here..

TN is what I'm use to I think. But, aren't the IPS ones the really nice looking ones right..

I have a 28 inch now and it's just too big I think I'd rather have a 24 and like 21 inch combo i think

For some good deals on Monitors, check out Woot.com as they often get them in.

Sorry I wasn't of any help with the ones you needed advice on but I'm a laptop/cell guy myself. Good luck regardless my fellow CAG. :)

Edit: look at it this way, the 24" and up sizes can double as a TV if you ever upgrade from it.
