Look, im sick today and I did this last night. I tried to install xp on a freakin emachines that came with vista.
Vista sucks, no doubt about it. So I really wanted to downgrade.
I installed xp and completely formatted my drive and guess what. Cant get drivers to work. This is some generic motherboard that I cant find out the make or anything.
I need the drivers for the internet and such to work. I know that it is a nvidia chipset (6150SE I think)But I cant get the drivers for XP.
Am I SOL? Will I have to buy a new mobo? WTF do I need to do?
its a emachines T2530. Please for god sakes dont try to tell me "you get what you pay for" because with some extra parts this thing was great until I had the genius idea to install XP...
I also tried to install vista back but I get
ing errors when I do so.
PLEASE help by telling me what I need to do, not what I should have done.
And if I will have to get a new motherboard(only have about 50 dollars) then will I be able to just plug everything in and go?
edit. I will probably have to upgrade to a new mobo but need to know what I will need to do for that..
