It goes by multiple names, but the only one I know of is "Conquest" on TouchMaster arcade stations.
The game is initially designed for 2 players, who both start with 2 pieces on a grid. One piece at a time, players may either move jump a space or duplicate their piece into an adjacent space, similar to cellular mitosis. When your piece is touched by an opponents piece, the space your piece was on is replaced with a new opponents piece (similar to how Othello is played). As pieces expand further, the changes become more extreme, and the game ends when every space is occupied.
Does anyone know the name of the game? I'm trying to find it as an online flash game or iPhone game.
