I need help with this virus please:(

"Worm.Win32.NetSky has been detected on your machine."

This was on my laptop this morning when I turned it on. I don't know how it got on. I am trying to learn alot about PC hardware and software but I still don't know alot about much of this stuff, especially viruses. If anyone has advice I would gladly take it.

Basically right now I can't do anything on the laptop besides log on. Not even get on the internet. F.Y.I- I have Windows Vista 32 bit on a Dell Studio 15 laptop. Thank you for look at this.

Download the removal tool from symantec, burn it to a cd (or place on a usb drive that holds absolutely no other data, so it doesn't spread), then sneakernet it over to the laptop.

Try the bitdefender rescue disc, gratis.

It helped me even when safemode didnt help. It's kind of like booting into another OS altogether that runs of the disc, like a linux boot disc, which is probably exactly what it is, only with a virus scanner for your hard drives.

You'll have to have access to another computer that has a cd burner though.
