You know what I'm talking about? The piece that stays connected to the Xbox and disconnects from the control. If anyone knows where I can find one cheap that would be great. Thanks.

replacements are at eb and gamestop for about 5 bucks, check the kb sale cheapy posted they have extensions for 1.99, i think they're the kind that go in place of that and are xft in length.

Just leave it connected to the Xbox when you're not using them, and wrap up the controllers separately. I lose things easily, but I haven't lost those connectors yet.

sorry they aren't
or at least according to the pic.

but you can find extension at about the same price as a 4 inch replacement. if not a little more,
i always shaq-fuing lose those things! why do they have 2 pieces anyway?
if you put your system on the edge of your coffee table or anywhere for that matter and you throw a controller, yank, trip over one, the breakaway conector, breaks away and your xbox is fine.

Its 2 pieces because they didn't want the Xbox to fall if you pulled the controler too hard.
Apparently it would make no sense to... you know... make the controller unplug easier.

The break-away feature has saved my XBOX from a few deaths.
When drunk friends are over & tripping all over my small-ass living room, it really helps! :)

One guy accidently took one of my friends little controller pieces at a LAN party, he still hasnt got it back. Those things are annoying.

how do you guys lose these? Mine only came apart once when my little bro tripped over them. It never comes apart when removing the controllers to put them away.
