I need some anime recommendations

Some have had Hellsing, which I fully recommend.

Evangelion is good, too, though a bit strange and confusing...

Also, I've only seen one mention for it, but GTO is awesome. It's not really action-oriented (though it has a nice bit of it), it's just all around awesome.

Just finished up hellsing, I would reccomend renting it first.

Trigun is awesome, but expensive.

Naruto - awesome story/characters. Free fansubs.

Full Metal Alchemist - also cool, keeps you interested. not free anymore (fansubs) because its liscensed now.

Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust is good.

I would suggest Burn Up W series (2 words=bounce counter. Also there are lots of guns)

Slayers is funny with a medieval setting.

One Piece is on tv now.

Armitage is okay in my opinion

Ghost in the Shell is a classic. New movie coming out (is it out yet?)

Samurai X (darker than rurouni kenshin, but same characters, people actually die in this set)
