ok ive been looking at picking any or all of these 3 games up since they're pretty cheap, please let me know your impressions of them, i love culdcept and card fighters clash, so comparasons are welcome

yu-gi-oh: dulest of the roses (ps2)
DBZ: CCG (gba)
pokemon: CCG (gbc)

thanks in advance!

Pokemon is great. If you liked CFC on Neo Geo, you'll enjoy Pokemon, no doubt about that. The Pokemon TCG covers the Basic, Jungle and Fossil sets of cards (if you followed the actual card game at all).

I just got that Yu-Gi-Oh last week. It's different from the other YGO games in that you have to move your cards on a play field, with terrain and what have you. You also have to designate one monster as a deck leader, and they are always on the play field. Seems a little tough, might want to rent it first.

Haven't played the DBZ game.

ok pokemon seems like a lock then.

what do u mean about the yugioh game? ive never played any of them i jsut have a chance to pick it up for 5 used, but because of my budget i dont want to buy a game i wont like

move them in a feild? like culdcept?

I'm not sure if you're interested, but I have a strategy guide for pokemon I'd be willing to trade if you have any penny strategy guides.

i have an xiii guide, but id like to wait til i get the game first.

PM me when your back from basic training if u remember lol

Just PM me after Tuesday if you get the game. When I come back it'll give me a new PM message, then I'll reply and you'll have no idea what I'm talking about.

I tried the DBZ game, and maybe it's just because I don't care too much for the actual TCG, but I did not have fun with it. I guess you'd have to be a DBC TCG fanatic in order to have the least bit of enjoyment with it.

Yeah, Duelists of the Roses has a field, but not like Culdcept. It's more like YGO with a few extra rules. The field and movement features add a little more strategy to it, as does the deck leader position. I would not recommend this as a first-time YGO game. It's more for medium-advanced players.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! one doesn't seem bad. If you enjoy playing the game, then it should be right for you.

Mmm-mmm, I loved the Pokemon CCG. I remember how tough Murray was when I first fought him; bastard used Psychic AND Normal so I couldn't use weaknesses at all.

As for the DBZ CCG, let me give you what I thought of it when I played it...

-Confusing
-Boring
-Lame
