I'm excited to see Pirates 3, it looks a lot better than the new Shrek movie at least.

I was comparing Pirates 3 to other franchises third installment.

I was just looking at RT after all these comparisons and was really surprised so I had to say something :p

EDIT: And i was actually just looking at movies that are in theaters at the moment and how well they are reviewing compared to the big 3 that are out now.

I generally like to mix the rating between RT and IMDB, which usually (for me) is fairly accurate. In this case it's about 6 and a half, which is average. A movie I wouldn't mind seeing but I can certainly wait for.

Absolutely.

I'll admit though, I enjoyed Spider-man 3. It's probably not as good as the second movie, but I'd go as far as saying that it's better than the first.

It's not the final movie. Rumor is that Disney wants the first movie in a new trilogy to be out around 2010-2011.

And all the Pirate movies are way too long, the second was was etrribly long.
