I scored at gamestop...

CAGiversary!
Visited my local gamestop today like usual (woonsocket RI)... nothing really special or new, so I picked out a few games that i wanted...
Gran turismo 3 a-spec for 9.99, Oni for 6.99, and Virtua fighter 4 for 8.99 used.
Went up to the counter and reserved GTA San andreas.
The man asked me if i wanted a game informer card, i figured it was usual talk but he said that i could get 10% off used games and accessories, so i asked him in light conversation how much.
and he said 2.00$. I'm like... two dollars? Well OK sure. then i filled out all the forms and i got not one, but two game informer magazines for free (bonus for "buying" the card). the 10% was also applied to my purchase, so with the card & reserve & games my total was ... 35.01$. Not too bad, even if RI's tax is pretty hefty at 8%.
And to think, not only did i get 10% all games and accessories in the store for 10 months, but the magazines too. And the two magazines seperately would be about 13$. And the card was only 2 and i got them for free :)
Maybe they like me or something. But i thought that "hey, gamestop didn't actually try to jip me off this time" so i was pretty happy about that.
Usually the cards are 10$...so you got a deal...big deal (meant that in the bad way)
i got mine for $6, maybe each gamestop sets their own price or something?
the title of this post is very misleading. i was expecting something along the lines of: "Dear Penthouse..."
I second that.

you didn't get it for two dollars, that is what it was after the discount was added, they are 10 dollars.

i think he's right, lol! i just did the calculations and it seemed like you paid 10 bucks for the card.

(games reflect 10 percent discount using the card)
gran turismo = $9
oni = $6.29
virtua fighter 4 = $8.09

subtotal = $23.38
tax (7% according to dead of knight) = $1.64
total = $25.02 + $10 for the subscription/discount card (hehe, i'm off by a penny)

you paid $35.01

Yeah, that's we're supposed to do at GS- tell them how much the card would be after the discount is applied to the stuff the people are buying.

you are forgetting to add however much money she put down to reserve san andreas.

still not a "score". i think this is what they call a "purchase".
