ok, so doesnt have as much fps as i thought. but, I'm not a big fan of third persons either, i dont like using the right analog to aim and look around. But anyway i rented Dead Rising its amazing, and Dead or alive 4 is good. And i want to catch up on some xbox games i never played like panzer dragoon and ninja gaiden. But, I'm still gonna get a ps3 eventually for MGS4.
 
i bought my 360 about a month ago, only played it about 6 hours and i got the ring of death about 3 weeks into owning the system. Moral of the story, make sure you buy the warranty from M$.

Lol its not PS3 fanboys bad talking the 360, its just that the xbox 360 is the worst out of the 3 major systems. Its really a tie between the Wii and the PS3 because of the PS3's price tag. If the ps3 cost 300-400 the PS3 wouldnt be doubted.

Halo 3 puts it in first for me. Crapzone 2 doesnt get me excited at all, especially not for 800 dollars and shitty online play.
 
Doesn't look to me like you had anything to sell out to. It's not as if owning a Playstation is some kind of underground culture with minimal participants, or is anything minimal to begin with.

Worst out of the 3 major systems, since your are comparing the next generation consoles I have to disagree. Its the only freakin' one out yet so its the best next generation console out there....

Don't get me wrong I am a huge sony fanboy and just picked up the 360 in the last month, but there was no way I was paying $600 for a unproven piece of hardware. Overall Dead Rising alone made the 360 a worthwhile purchase so far.
 
Sigh, I don't hate on any system, but just briefly looking at gamespot, out of 293 current/not yet released 360 games, there are 15 FPS for 360...

its not loaded with FPS.

But if you need some good games to convince you, you already have DOA4, also get Dead Rising, N3, Tomb Raider Legends, etc.
 
I don't get it. So your saying the 360 has no good games? But the PS3 launch lineup is soo good you'd spend 200.00 more for it? I can't even mention 1 Good PS3 launch Game and I like Sony a lot. :(

Warhawk's the only real game that stands out for launch(right now) and even that doesn't excite me enough to pay $600 for a system. While Sony is launching the PS3 w/ mostly likely shortages, the 360 will be getting Gears of War along with a ton of other games for the holiday.

Perfect Dark Zero
Quake 4
Far cry Instincts
Prey
Ghost Recon
King Kong
Condemned.

Now how many RPGs do we have right now. I Like Call of Duty, Condemned, Quake 4, and King Kong, but I what I really Want is japanes RPG's, which it seems like we will get more than what we got with the xbox.

Sony said they were pretty much going to copy xbox live for the ps3's online play, only the ps3 online play will still be free as opposed to having to pay a yearly fee as well as pay for horse armor.

Lol theres no way i couldve played all 3(although one of my friends who went to E3 has played a Wii)But i have played the 360, and honestly the 360 has 1 thing on ps2 better graphics and a solid online system. The ps3 will have a solid online system like xbox live but we wont have to pay for it. And in my eyes the 360 is no better then the ps2, i mean what games are extremly good for the 360? Dead rising call of duty 2 and 1 other but i forgot the name. Yeah the 360 looks amazing but wasnt it the same way with dreamcast???
 
Yeah 360's only good games are all FPS's. Just look at Oblivion, Fight Night, NCAA, Dead Rising, GRAW, Burnout, Table Tennis, etc.

U really cant classify NCAA or Fight Night being good 360 games since their good on every system they are on

I love burnout on the 360, although I hate Oblivion but thats just personal reasons. I like Call of Duty 2 and Quake 4 was great. Top Spin 2 is good and dead or alive 4 is cool. I just think many of us who are into RPG's feel like the system is only for sports and FPS shooters. It has great games but I remember the PS2 having more than 2 or 3 genres with good games. At the end of the day I still have my 360, so I can't really complain.

Thats why I passed on the 360. I almost got one for Dead Rising, but then I figured I would regret it when the PS3 came out.

I'm just looking at most of the big EXCLUSIVE games on 360 look like first person games, i guess i might be wrong or need to more researching by reading some of these comments. But arent mass effect, bioshock, first person games, I just played the lost planet its not a fps but it sure plays like one. My favorite games for the last gen were devil may cry, god of war, the ratchet and clank series, and the jak series, I'm also a big resident evil fan. I just dont see alot of those type of games coming out for 360, besides resident evil,. The 360 is a solid system, it has great features,live arcade, media center, the controller is great, but i'm having a tough time finding games, some that look pretty interesting are too human, just cause, enchanted arms. But on the ps3 i'm interested in heavenly sword,ratchet,warhawk,devil may cry, mgs 4, virtua fighter, tekken, assasin's creed. I know assasin's creed and devil may cry are are rumored to be multiplatform but nothing has been confirmed. 360 is a solid system, im just not 100% sure if its right for me.

Let me know when you can fire up Fight Night Round 3 or NCAA on your PS2 or Xbox and have it look like it does on my 360.

doesnt matter what the game looks like to me,yeah its good to have good graphics,but id rather play a game with playstation1 graphics with amazing gameplay like valkryie profile, then play a game with real life graphics that has horrible gameplay

maybe i was rambling, but i dont know if i'm a noob or not(i've been visiting cagforums for awhile, i just dont post much.)

Buts its not bullshit. My gamertag is reignman1111, i havent played a game online but you can see the 10 points i got so far.
i wasnt trying to insult the 360. I dont know why everybody gets so offended so easily, but i just spent 400 bucks and i was just having some second thoughts, becuase now i dont have enough money to buy a ps3 or even a wii. I shouldnt have posted anything, seeing how many people got offended.

My advice to you is to get a gamefly account and rent some games that you would normally not buy. After that is said and done give your opinion on the 360 and the games. Also buy some MSpoints or dl some arcade demos for some cheap fun.

I never agree with Evanft much but that is EXACTLY what I was gonna say...I also cant hold it in that some posters dont know what a FPS is and a 3rd person shooter or action game is.....WOW....just WOW....Osmosis11 says: "Lost planet sure plays like an FPS" Are you kidding? Uh....you should have looked at the games they had.....and a pre-order list of games coming out.......well whatever your probably gonna have enough money for the "second" shipment of PS3's so who cares right???

Okay, you should read your own posts before responding next time. You said that Sony won't have microtransactions, but the link said otherwise. Now you're saying the exact opposite. Make up your mind next time. ;)

doesn't say that Sony won't have microtransactions? I guessed that he made an ironic typo since his link said, and I knew the answer already, that Sony would indeed have microtransactions for the PS3, which went against the point he made.
