Ok gaming patrol....let me say it in ebonics or retard language or something "do anybody no wyhat 1st person is or 3rd person is?" there did i say that retarded enough for anyone who thinks a 3rd peron shooter is the same as a 1st person shooter or a 1st person shooter is the same as an action/puzzle game? Wow just WOW is my line to whoever stole that above...lol. GUN is a 3rd person shooter...GRAW is 1st and 3rd person shooter (option from the menu and the noob version of the GR series might I add especially when played in 3rd person)
As far as numbers go that is the biggest bunch of bullshite ever...I dont care if Barbie Horse adventures sells through the roof...I want good games, at a good price with expanded content to make the game last, not we sold this many systems we are number 1. If its an offline game then i want some good, original thought out stuff that is different from all the crap Ive played since atari. I want the Residnt Evils,MGS,Splinter Cell,Halo,Dead rising, Guitar Hero,God Of War, Ninja Gaiden games. Im NOT interested in how many units sold or how many cores you have or how big your GPU is (insert south park episode of Ginormous penis). As long as the units sold reflects my system staying power in the market thats all that matters. As long as developers back me and make stuff for me WHO CARES.
With the development costs being so high games are coming to your system and the chances of exclusives from houses like Ea or UBISOFT are pretty low at this point. So your gonna see Splinter Cell on PS3 and 360, your gonna see Assasins Creed on both and worst case senario you have to wait (which will be rare at this point as well) 6-12 months...oh no you crack addicted gaming whores (add me in there) there are so many titles that will be out youll have a hard time playing them (w/o skipping work or giving all your money to your wife for shopping so you have game time or skipping school...that should cover all of you) it wont even matter.
For you hyped up PS3 fans in here chill out most info is rumours, but here is some creepy news:
-Your SONY hasnt even begun production (be worried there)
-You have 1 launch game (Resistance) and a port FEAR.
-Unconfirmed format Blu-ray (hey remember Betamax,Minidisc,UMD for movies?)
-$600 price tag, now add tax, 2 games,1-2 extra controllers, some kind of add on...now your at $800-1000 (have fun I can be in The carribean on an all inclusive 1 week trip for that much getting tanked and snorkeling)
-Minimal supplies, good luck getting a system at launch unless you "jack" someone for one
+You get 1080p support (if you have that 3,000+ HDTV)
+HDMI hooray
+You get mucho cores which translates too more powerful
+You have Ginormous GPU
+You get MGS
+You get RPG's like FF
+Ratchet and clank 4000
+Tekken 50000000
+Devil May Cry 3435362
Bottom Line wait...just wait and see what happens with blu-ray,wait to see what happens with bugs, cores and other system launch problems, wait to see if Sonys online is indeed at least up to par with XBL, wait to see the second wave of games for PS3 and if they are soo much better, exclusive or even that much better graphically then 360, and WAIT for a price reduction (wouldnt be surprised at all if they lower it one more time before launch). If you are just soooo cracked out you "gotta have it" at launch...well go buy or make a T-shirt that says "I bought a Neo-Geo" b/c thats about how stupid you could be for spending that much without actually trying out the product.
