yeah so tonight i get a email from blizzard saying my wow mists of pandaria beta is here (im an annual pass holder).

so i log onto my account, and and see that i have diablo 3 beta access (which has nothing to do with the annual pass).

dont get me wrong im much more excited about diablo than mop, but wtf.

and for those of you who think the email may have been spam, i checked the email it was from. oddly enough its battle.net
 
i think you misunderstood me. i got a email from blizzard inviting me to the mists of pandaria beta(which is part of the annual pass).

but when i went to battle.net (not thru the email but thru the url) it shows on my account page that i have diablo beta access.

also, when i go to diablo 3s forums, i now have access to the beta section (which is closed for non beta accounts)
 
There are some very legit looking Mists of Pandora emails (When looking at message headers, they often show the truth). I would change your password.


You also likely got into Diablo 3 beta and that email is somewhere buried in your spam/junk folder.
 
I also got into the Diablo 3 beta at the same time I got into the Mists beta with no Diablo email last month. Blizzard didn't make a mistake, sometimes they just don't send an email or it's hidden in your spam folder. If you logged in onto your account on battle.net without clicking the link in the email, you have no need to change your password, you just deserve a congratulations. I've only played the Mists beta for an hour total but I've played Diablo a hell of a lot more.
 
thott i should mention. in the time since i posted this, i already beat all the content of the beta with one class. GOD WHAT A TEASE. fun as hell tho.

when i launched the game they also mentioned that they are giving away another 275,000 invites tonight. so watch ur emails guys :D
 
I get WoW beta and Diablo beta invites all the time from very very legit looking emails, I'm already in each beta btw.

I also get emails about my Aion, Runescape, Rift, and Warhammer accounts as well. All of which I've never played in my life or even have registered accounts on their websites.

Oh Guildwars emails too ... but if those are legit they can have that crap fest. :cool:
 
I think BLIZZARD didn't have a mistake there. I think you were really invited to join the games. It's a privilege to have a beta account and you should be happy. If you are interested on playing the games, then you are blessed and you should congratulate yourself. If you're not interested then it would not be a big deal. XD

I hope I'm gonna experience that one too. I'm excited about the DIABLO 3 BTW! HAHAHA! :)
