1..

Tom Clancy's EndWar (Nintendo DS)BRAND NEW SEALED NIB ! 7 bucks shipped

2....

Chrono Trigger
Dragon Ball Origins
Pokemon Diamond cart only
and
Dragon ball Z The legacy of Goku GBA

all 4 shipped for 35....

I figure i can dump off Trigger here or on Goozex for 900 pts (those pts would cost 45 alone)

I wanted Dragon ball Origins and was shocked these 3 games (plus a junk gba game LOL) went this cheap...

probally could dump Trigger and the pokemon diamond for around 35 alone ....

Endwar DS was around $7 at Target, so it may have been a flipper hoping to make a quick buck, unless it was at $7 BIN in which case it's probably a bootleg.

dunno about the 2nd deal, who was the seller?

As long as the seller wasn't from China or Hong Kong or some other foreign country that only stocks bootlegs they are probably legit.

I have been getting good deals on ebay lately too, just bought a complete but played a couple times copy of Elebits for DS for around 6.75 shipped. Ebay prices are just really low for lesser known games, the only DS games that seem to sell big are Pokemon, Mario and other Nintendo franchises to an extent.

nice thing is i got 2 of the 3 games already so i can see if they are bootlegs or not ... will either use these at trade or goozex.... or will keep them so my #$#$#$# Cousin stops taking the games i want to play ... #$#$#$# still has my Pokemon time darkness LOL

(took the sellers name out cause dont know if i can list them) both sellers from USA

i think some games go dirt cheap just for poor luck.... I was selling some coupons the other day and only got 10 cents each out of them and saw others ones sell a hour before and later hitting between 75 cents to 1.29 each

A lot of the ebay sellers are china-based, even if it isn't obvious. Personally, I'd check for the presence of other systems. For example, a seller that only sells GBA/DS games is suspicious, while a seller that sells games from all systems isn't.

Also, check the actual feedback, not just the number. For example, entries like "didn't work, but got a refund. A+" are suspicious.

EDIT:
Endwar looks legit; seller has large variety of items.
The lot looks legit; seller looks like a person selling some games. There is a possibility of a bootleg or two, but if so, the seller would be unaware of that.

I also check to see if the person is selling a lot of games, usually if its a few games on auction then its someone selling from their personal collection and its a good candidate to bid on. If they have like 10 copies of a game that just came out like 2 days ago at 9.99 an item BIN then its likely a bootleg. If they have a picture of the game with box and manual then its definitely not a bootleg as no bootlegger would bother to do that. Stock pictures are slightly suspicious but a lot of sellers use them because its a hassle to take real pictures. Bootleggers use stock photos almost 100% of the time.

A lot of sellers on there are also wholesalers of games, there are people on there who sell many, many games and have near perfect feedback, they are obviously not selling bootlegs, someone would call them out on it. So no, not everyone is a bootlegger.

Comments like, the game doesn't fit, the game doesn't save, or we had trouble getting this game to work indicate bootlegs. I remember with GBA bootlegs the most common complaint was having difficulty fitting it into the system because the cartridge was not exactly the right size, often slightly larger than a real cartridge.

One more point, certain titles seem to be more susceptiable to bootlegging than others, you can be sure there are plenty of Mario and Pokemon bootlegs out there for example. Some games they do not bother to bootleg since they aren't popular enough. By reading the listings you can also get a handle on what they are bootlegging, if you see many of the same game being listed at 9.99 BIN and its something that just came out, you can know to watch more carefully on auctions for that game.

I've bought literately hundreds of games on ebay over the past couple years and never once received a bootleg because I choose my sellers carefully.

no cashback on AUction type items.. just buy it now...

I really wanted 3 out of 4 of the games

the only game i dont have a use for is Trigger What i will toss to Goozex to get an easy 900 pts.. Use those 900 pts to pick up between 3 to 4 games ( 2oo or 300 pt game)

so i end up with

Endwar
Pokemon diamond
Dragonball Org.
+ 3 or 4 more Games

for around 45 bucks after shipping
