who are you again?:D :D :D :D
Dude. I'm a figment of your imagination. Like that purple dragon that used to be at the ride at Disney World, Figment. Time to fly away!
So i just tried Guiness beer tonight and man it tastes like a dogs asshole.
Please, tell us more about your adventures in dogs' asshole tasting.

To me it tastes like icy cold barbecue sauce. :puke:

Variations of that joke never get old.
Holy shit.

I need to study for my math final tomorrow. Ugh.......... But my music final is open book! Awesome!
Final? Tomorrow? What is it, trig?
Is it bad that that makes me want to try it?
Same here. Actually I was already thinking about picking some up for Saturday. :whistle2:k

But I work 10am - 2, and I'll probably end up being a DD after that. Which I don't mind at all, but then what's the point of grabbing some Guiness? It'll have to wait 'til I get the gf back home at least. We'll see.

I've never had any type of beer before.

I'm at the gf's now, as I have been all night. She's sleeping, and has been for a while. I couldn't, and so here I am. But I think I'll get back to that soon.

Night OTT.
Final? Tomorrow? What is it, trig?
College algebra, but the book is "Algebra and Trigonometry," so a bunch of the stuff is trig-related.

Guiness sucks.
Apparently my sister-in-law got somewhat ill today and had to go to the hospital, even though I'm still not sure what for. Sounds like a bad thing, but she is doing fine at the moment, not to mention I get to skip out on Astronomy Lab tomorrow, but to do so I am forced to play with my nephew for up to 5 hours. I can handle him for a couple, but 4-5 hours is going to be pushing it. I'll see whats up in the morning though.

Later OTTers.
"Why does all the bad stuff have to happen to me"

Hmmm... Gears of War co-op on Insane was fun as hell.

Gears of War online.....the most over rated fucking thing i have heard about in the last 5 months.

They might as well not even have any differnt maps..just one big ass room will do fine, since every game just turns into a run and gun show with the shotgun.

The game just boils down to circle strafeing with the shotgun hoping to god you hit the person...

It also commands the CHEAPEST weapons sets in any multiplayer game.

Meh. God thing i only bought it for the offline play. Still a very solid game offline and with a partner.

You can thank halo for that.

Then stay back and use the lancer or pistol once your good enough. Everything in the game has a counter.

Its not about being good or bad at the game. I am not commenting on skill. Even if I am not the one actually playing the game...its still a shotgun show.

I just feel the multiplayer is nothing to look twice into. Just a average multiplayer.

The shotgun is the most powerful weapon on the game, what do you expect.

I'm just telling you don't hate the game cuz what others do. There's soo much more to it than just shotgun. It's too bad you can't see through that.

Ummm who shot who in the what now?

I didnt say i hated the game...I said the multiplayer was average at best. I was refering to the point how shotguns are suppose to be close combat weapons yet their used instead of...................mmmmmm meh.

The game online is average at best. Thats all I am going to say.

I have yet to play gears online. I have done the story twice and will probably go through it at least two more times. Once with my older brother (who hasn't really played it yet) and then play on hard with my little brother since we have passed the game before on normal. I tried playing on hard with my roommate but he lacks the skills so I had to roll it back down to normal.

Gears online is fun if you're playing with people you know/random people who actually talk and aren't annoying.

Going to see Ghostland Observatory tomorrow (well, today now) and Public Enemy on Friday.
I still need to find a show for Thursday though...

Night OTT.
You can thank halo for that.
Epic's games have always been fast paced so blaming Halo wouldn't be appropriate.

And the MP is just fine. Like ryles said there is a counter for everything in the game. Play some more and die a lot and eventually you will get good. A lot of the time I can rarely use the shotgun and still lead the game in kills. Give me the torque or boom and 95 percent of the time the shotgunner is going down.

Sweet. I just found out that my cell contract ended two days ago. I called Verizon CS, and they called my dad a little bit ago to add my name as authorized on the account. Only thing is is that the second line on the family share plan HAS to be cancelled by him and only him. So I'm heading out to pick him up when I take a room mate to work, and go up to the Verizon store because it'd be a lot easier for him to understand and for me to elaborate on things more in a setting like that rather than doing it all over the phone.

At least now i can use the 100 dollar upgrade thing. Though I still can't decide on if I want the enV or the Samsung a930. both from what I've read are very solid and great phones...

Morning OTT. I'm home now.

After I signed off last night I looked through my gf's high school yearbooks ... holy shit, she was in damn near everything. Senior year alone she was pictured close to 20 times. I didn't do an official count.

I, on the other hand, didn't do shit.
The price of new comics put me off since I'd then want to buy them monthly (and this still puts me off of comic books.
Quoted for truth. I used to buy them every week, but stopped when it just got too expensive. I bought a few lots off eBay months ago for not a ton of money when I started getting the itch to read a few again. Read those and I didn't really feel the need to get any more.

I'm totally fucking mesmerized by this.

Guinness doesn't taste anything like barbacue sauce. It's bitter and has almost a chocolate undertone to it. Try doing an Irish Carbomb sometime -- even if you don't like Guinness, you'll probably like that... I don't know that many people who don't, and most who don't is because they don't like chugging a pint of beer.

Sissies.

Irish Car Bomb always seemed nasty to me. But then I don't like chugging a pint of beer. Stuff isn't exactly health food, I like to savor the experience.

I think I'm with Roufuss on skipping this eBay listing sale. I have some things to list but a $0.20 sale is pretty weak and an auction only sale is even weaker. Most of my stuff is all ready to go in TL as fixed price and I don't think I care to take the time to think about a good auction price to switch them to + a BIN. (And then I'd be paying a good bit more than $0.20 per as well.) Of course I say that now and then I'll end up slapping 30 things up this evening.

When you're poor and in college, you take a meal where you can get it. ;)
Plus it tastes kinda like chocolate cake. :)

Very true.

I'm sure I did poorly on my math test, but I got a 94 on my Intro to Music test. Now I just a philosophy test tomorrow, and then a nearly-two week break. Well, after this Friday, when I have one math class, but that will just be going over the test. Hopefully I didn't do too bad.
Sometimes I feel I'm in the minority in that I never drink anything alcoholic.
Naw. I don't really drink either.

Mostly because everything tastes like shit.

I'll have some mixed drinks and/or girly drinks here and there, but that's about it. I just don't see the appeal of imbibing something that doesn't taste good, especially when the so-called benefit is feeling sick and/or acting like a jackass.
Sometimes I feel I'm in the minority in that I never drink anything alcoholic.
You are in the minority.

I've only had Guinness once, and it was from a can. It was okay.

I enjoy a beer or a glass of wine here and there. The key for me being 'a'. Been a really really long time since I drank to get drunk.

I've been drunk twice, and that was probably enough. I'm only 19 though, so I haven't really had the chance to go out and actually buy/try a variety of alcohol. Obviously there are other ways to get it, but whatever. Not having much control over myself isn't that appealing. Especially when it, as you said, makes me sick.

Is there a trick to keeping a french baguette fresh longer or does that type of bread just go stale in a few days no matter what you do? Generally I've just been keeping it in the bag they're sold in. (at room temp.)
You are in the minority.

Problem located. Guinness is a beer that needs to be enjoyed on draft. Preferably in a yard glass at a pub.

I've never been able to keep one from going stale. You just have to eat it fast.

I guess theoretically you could freeze portions and microwave them, but I don't know if that would work. Plus it'll alter the taste just a bit.

I do loves me a sandwich on a baguette though. Just tough enough.

French baguettes do tend to get hard and stale quickly compared to other breads. You can place it in a sealed plastic container, it will last longer, but will get soggy. If you just don't care about taste, you can preserve it even longer in the fridge, but it will lose its flavor.
