Ok, I want to get Fallout New Vegas I plan on buying it once not 4 times, but I know the game is at GameStop, Walmart and Best Buy also with Preorder bonuses at all

I walked in Best Buy a week ago and saw Madden 11 preorder had Madden NFL Arcade in a sealed preorder package, my question is if it gets closer to Fallout coming out is it possible to just buy the preorder package with no intent to receive the game?

I am trying to get them all without having to eBay all of them

Thanks for any help

I was wondering the same thing, but then I heard that everything will be available in-game as you progress. Its just if you preorder you get it right away. I dont know if its true or not, its just what I heard.

That's just abusing the pre-order. I don't recommend doing it, unless you want to take the chance of keeping all those copies
The pre-order bonuses are inside the actual game, so you'd have to pay for the game to get them, and break the seal.
thanks for the help

and to the other guy how is it being a dick? I would pay the minimum $5.00 just to get a case with a code in it, but NOT pick up the main game

I think its because that means someone else wouldn't be able to buy the game, but he's just trolling since there is no way this game is going to be sold out at release.

I wish there was some way around the pre-order BS. I understand businesses want to offer something unique, but it's unfair to people who cannot afford to (or justify) buying multiple copies of the same game for some stupid code. I think if anything, offer some pre-order bonus that has nothing to do with ingame content, and then give each retailer the codes to sell seperately. For the right thing, I will pay $5 or whatever at the store. Not for a gold weapon pack or anything, but cool armor or multiplayer perks, or extra vehicles, etc.

I can't think of any way around it, but you can write a letter to all parties involved and maybe they will provide you with codes if your letter is strong enough?

Have you checked out the Little Big Planet 2 collector's edition yet? That seems like a great way to do it imo.

QFT!!! I love the way they are doing the CE. I'm not going to get it, but that is something that I would like to see in all CEs. If games like New Vegas, Reach, and Dead Space 2 did that, they would sell soooo many more collector's editions.

Seeing LBP2 collectors has all the preorder stuff was the best news for the game yet... no juggling codes like with 1.

I'm still mad about the first one, I bought the game at GameStop to get the Kratos skin, but I also paid $5 for the Nariko skin at Best Buy to have both. Then when they put it up for sale on the PSN they threw a bunch of extra stuff in with the Nariko skin so I'd have to buy it again if I wanted all of it. I haven't gotten around to that yet.

I wouldn't worry about getting pre-order bonuses. At least within the past year, a lot of those pre-order bonuses will come when the game ships. Gamestop started the switch over and you will either get your code on the receipt at pick up or it will be pre-packaged.

9 times out of 10, those preorder bonuses will be available to buy on the marketplace shortly after launch. Just wait it out. I couldn't believe all those people paying $30-40 for single Transformers character codes, and now the first DLC is coming this week with all 3 of the differect store pre-order characters, plus 2 more, and 4 maps for $10. Patience is a virtue.

You could've easily got a refund on your Best Buy preorder without having to return the Nariko code. That's what I did.

This is what I did too. Best Buy don't care for the box that you buy when you preorder or if you used whatever code it comes with. A manager might be wise and not let you cancel it, but most Best Buys won't even care and return your preorder money with just the receipt. But usually I don't care about preordering to much to do any of this, just once or twice on very specific games.

I made $15.64 off of mine. Not the amounts you're talking about, but now I have enough to get all of the characters!!!

I hate being forced to buy something on release day to get a preorder bonus.Whenever a cool preorder bonus comes out for a game I want but I know where to get the game cheaper, I preorder it from gamestop, buy it and then return it days later, and keep the preorder bonus.

Its true they sometimes offer the preorder dlc on the marketplace on xbl and the psn , but often they do not(Gold weapons for gears,Baseball bat l4d2).If they offered everything(even the physical preorder bonuses like figures) for a price to be bought seperately, I'd buy it personally.
