You know...I think there is something wrong with my 360. I cannot hear nayone on Live and i can't hear any voice messages sent to me, either. :cry:

EDIT: AA is the one who sent me a mssg I couldn't hear...

I find it just as necessary as you do when you report back every single day about your process in a game and such. Only problem is people actually care about what you say, and not I. I don't even know why I ever even posted in this shit.

Actually, I said " that's what I don't understand" before I said " LOL BRAGGIN' BOUT FRIENDS ON NET". Wish you could've focused on that, that made a bit more sense.

Anyways, just no point of even posting in OTT anymore. You all are better off using AIM accounts and starting an invite only chatroom. "Course it doesn't matter though , anyone new wants to come in the OTT that you don't like you can just mock them until they go away.

P.S. Any forum that is host to a "sub"-section for general talk inevitably and consistently develops its own additional "sub"-section of users that contribute nothing beyond their participation in said "sub"-section. Furthermore, they tend to create their own "sub"-culture for said "sub"-section, alienating both the current and future forum members.

Network/router issues? Try static IP with port forwarding ala shrike if you haven't already?

How to you have your network setup? run a connect tets and check to see if you have a mod or severe NAT. That can mess up voice chat. I had tor esett my router to clear that.

Yes, and at 5 it disappears from your options.

Well, like, when I open the lobby screen, the only map option is basic training. and then when I click to change that, there are no other options. But maybe that's the difference between ranked and social. I need to change it to social I guess.

Already have. It worked fine, then one day, just stopped. Everyone else can hear me fine.

I might try wired again, to see if that make a diff. But I haven't played much of late anyway, so it's when I get a few spare minutes...

I checked those too - that was my first thought. Besides, this xbox has been through a lot, I'm surprised it held out this long.

Speaking of smaller individuals in my house, I had an interesting exchange with Pixie earlier.

I was doing dishes and, as I usualy do, was listening to my iPod and singing along. The song was Tal Bachman's "She so high." Pix said, "So which am I: Cleopatra, Joan of Ark or Aphrodite?"

I replied, "Joan of Ark, naturally. Because sometimes I want to tie you up and set you on fire."

To her credit, she took that in stride. In fact, she added, "And I hear voices and talk to invisible men..."

Thank God she has a sense of humor...

Even getting The Pit five times in a row wasn't too bad. Feel free to throw me an invite if you need help with some of the skulls or need another man for matchmaking. I still need to go through nearly all the levels on Legendary but the only real achievement I have left that'll be tough is the dual laser, which makes the pictures all the more sad.

What router do you have?
Edit: Also, it cvould be your modem. Check that first. Plug your modem in directly and then runa connection test. If you get open nat you're good. Then the problem is your router. Otherwise it's your modem.
